Owned on kindle AND paperback
I bought this book on kindle then in paperback and have read it cover to cover. It reiterates itself a lot which is good because you can easily get overwhelmed with what a product owner/scrum master/dev team/stakeholder role is. ESPECIALLY if you are attempting to use all of the roles yourself. You really need to focus and digest. This book does an excellent job with step by step breakdowns of things. My one complaint was about Epic User Stories as I felt like they made that sort of ambiguous. It felt like something that conflicted with the feature item level and it took a while for me to get a better grip of where it fit on the decomposition part of the game.I aim to use agile scrum for personal use. I think its that good. The best places to bookmark will be the parts that give you the ratios. Like for every 2 parts of this do this. Save those formulas. Especially planning poker and fibonacci numbers.Scrum of Scrums is towards the end and is geared for somebody who is basically going into the next lvl of scrum. The book was a fun read. I reread some chapters on decomposing items and the 7 stages of scrum. It would be helpful if the author already had a kit in place for amazon readers to buy from. Like this is what we recommend. This kanban board, This tape, This index card etc. I know it won’t matter too much but it would be another way for the authors to make income from people who really enjoy their books. Like a chef, we wanna use the same tools you used.So why not make me a persona and add my user story to your board :)Thanks for all the great tips in this very useful book. The hardest part about agile scrum is that some people may never ever hear or have heard about it.You have to have an ambassador entrepreneur trailblazer mindset to truly embrace agile scrum into your school of thought or else you’ll fall to the wayside.

Pretty good intro to Agile
The the last quarter of the book is mostly repetitive , but still a good intro to the world of Agile.

Decent introduction
I found parts excessively repetitive and it was sometimes difficult to keep track of terms. I think story points and user stories appears to be used interchangibly.

Ok Book
Decent book, but at times EXTREMELY repetitive. Which goes against the Agile approach to minimize unnecessary documentation.

Great intro to Agile
I’m a Prince2 qualified PM but haven’t got my hands dirty for a while. When I moved to a team delivering purely Agile projects, this was a great quick refresher for me! I even highlighted to the team where they were not following the core principles! Easy to read and understand, and great way of getting a basic grounding in Agile.

Excellent
Covers just enough to get people started on agile - people only learn by practicing. Reading is the definition of time wasted. This book is useful for professionals in the industry who had not studied computer science in college but already have working knowledge of software development (from industry experience). This book confirms what you have learned at times painfully and put that learning into chapters.Could be a bit shorter (like 250 pages)

Could be much better
Covers the subject but in a very dry, repetitive and preachy way like waterfall projects have never ever worked. There must be a better book on the subject

Good basic overview, but repetitive
Highly repetitive, lays out the basics but then repeats them again and again. Takes no time to discuss pitfalls and problems of agile. Reading this makes you believe it is a universal cure all.
