I have changed a digitizer before so I knew how to do it, but even if I didn't the tutorials on YouTube are straight to the point. I will say this: The star tool it came with was too small to actually unscrew these screws in the phone. I got some 2000 grit sandpaper and slowly ground the tip down until it was wide enough to work. Also, I was a dummy and didn't realize the strips of adhesive were designed to come apart for a more custom tape job, so my wifes screen has a corner that isn't perfectly down to the frame, but it's no big deal. I would say that's probably the hardest part to do.

Lasted for 3 months before it went bad. Purchased it because it was cheap and I should have known better.

The screen was fine. It has great colors and response. However, what should have been a 20 minute job was impossible with the tool kit included. It had 3 screw drivers, NONE of which would fit the two screws that needed removed. I had to take it to a shop that had the correct (T3 torx) screwdrivers. Once the screws were out, everything was easy. Selling a kit that is designed for the 3A XL should have the correct parts necessary.
