I've used many digital pens trying to find the perfect blend of a good writing pen and a pen that converts handwriting to typed docs and post/share them electronically. This pen also allows you to take notes and share them in real time. The price point is very fair. You need to use the notebooks that go with this pen and I like them. Many of the competitors only provide small, unlined notebooks that are not substantial enough for heavy, daily note taking for school or work for example. Pen stays charged all day even with continuous use. I charge the pen nightly. I love this product and the price for the value is on point.

The ink was not included in the box.

I purchased this Ophaya note pad awhile ago for my wife...as she opened it, there was black ink like substance all over the place, so she hasn't been able to use it since then. I would recommend not purchasing this and spend a bit more and go for a more professional version brand.
