I bought this after I purchased an Acer Predator Helios PH16-71-72YG (i7 with the RTX 4070) for $500 off. Only problem was that it only came with 16GB of RAM, which is a bit of a stretch in 2024 if you do both gaming and work (and I do a lot of work on my laptop). So, after doing some Googling, I found no answers and just decided to try this one out because it was the only RAM that anyone said they tried under any thread I looked at.Thank goodness it worked.Pros1. Showed up as 32GB in BIOS and after boot, so both sticks worked fine in my laptop.2. It can go faster, but is downclocked to 4800 since the laptop only supports RAM that fast. Fortunately, the G Skill RAM downclocks reliably and without issue (automatically, you don't do anything).3. Came with a fancy sticker that denotes that G Skill RAM is in the machine.Cons1. None really.Overall, I'm writing this review just to let people know that this RAM works and is completely stable in the Acer Predator Helios 16 PH16-71-72YG and will likely work in the other laptops in the PH16-71 family. Buy with confidence, just make sure you install it correctly!

The media could not be loaded. Well I have been a different top brand fan for over a few decades but AI said try Ripjaws for my comps. And all I can say is two computers at 32GB ram both at around 31.2GB usable and came with a cool logo sticker that I put on the laps. So far impressive speeds and will be using this from now on out!

My Alienware M16 R1 came with 16gb of RAM, which is not nearly enough memory nowadays. I purchased 32gb (two sticks of 16gb each) and popped them into my laptop, and that was it. The system immediately recognized the new memory and I was good to go. For reference the CPU in my specific laptop is a Ryzen 9 7845x and the GPU is an RTX 4080.

This was a great upgrade for my new laptop (Lenovo LOQ 15.6" Ryzen7840hs with an RTX 4050). It only came with 8gb RAM from the factory and I really wanted a good matching kit for an upgrade that would run at 5600mhz. Worked perfectly after I installed it, didn't have to change any settings and it runs at 5600 no problems. My computer is very snappy and opens programs almost instantly, games run good. Would recommend for sure

Does not work on XPS 15 9530 - it will not boot at all and will display 2 amber and 5 white status LEDs saying the RAM is incompatible. I could not find any resources from G.SKILL on their site or on here listing laptop compatibility.

I saw some other reviews mention they used this kit in the same laptop (Lenovo LOQ 16APH8 # 82XU0011US with Ryzen™ 5 7640HS). Can confirm I did the same and it runs well right out of the box. System recognized it and runs at advertised speeds. G.Skill makes quality RAM and stands behind their products. At the time I purchased, this was about $10 more for a 32gb kit compared to CL46, which I thought was fair. Very happy with my purchase.
