Recently got an old Dell Inspiron 600m and made a little project refurbishing it. The battery in it no longer held a charge so I bought this one for a replacement. Battery fit, holds charge, and charges. Works great!

Writing two hours after install, I obviously cannot know about longevity. What I can tell you is this: I rarely have used my refurbished 2008 Dell Latitude 610 on battery power. But one day I did run it on battery power when I decided to run the battery to 0% because, though controversial, some "experts" say it's a good idea. Well, it wasn't a good idea for me! The battery never charged back to 100% which resulted in me having to look at a blinking orange warning light for the past two years. No google search ever resulted in remedy for this irritation. Then several weeks ago I happened to unplug the AC adapter at which time the computer shutdown. THAT revealed that the 12-year-old Dell battery had finally died. I decided to buy this aftermarket battery even though I probably won't run my Latitude 610 on battery power more than a couple of hours per year. But I am REALLY pleased that the orange warning light no longer flashes. I will never again let my laptop battery to discharge '0' percent, or even 40%, just to be safe.

This battery failed and there is no link on their seller site for warranty service (12 month warranty). Received information through Amazon on seller and contacted the seller. The response was not in English... Commented that I needed a response in English.. Still waiting.UPDATE Great service once I received the link through Amazon Chat. The 'storefront' had non working link to get service directly causing delay. Good News is I received the replaced product and raised to 4 stars. Would be helpful if link to access warranty service were working.

Old battery (2013!!) finally died, charging cable a little sensitive. The vintage laptop (runs off USB Linux) back to life with battery replacement. Decent price.

So far so wonderful it keeping a charge which help my laptop. Hopefully the battery life will be long

Instructions say to discharge battery to 2% before fully charging but DO NOT discharge to 0%. Battery discharged to 39% then suddenly dropped to 0%!Battery would only charge to 28%Question whether this is a true Li-ion battery

Is is slightly larger dimensionally (thicker) and had to be seated with pressure. Also it cherge holding capacity is NOT what a new battery should be.
