You Won't Believe How Much Faster than USB Flash Memory, Seriously
I can't believe I've been using USB flash based memory cards when these SSD's exist. The data transfer speed is literally 10 times faster. And, this device has the dual end, which is outstanding for moving excess files from phone to SSD. I appreciate the design as well, looks and feels nice, end caps are reversible but they don't line up perfectly smoothly if put on the wrong way, which is fine. So far, so good, very happy with the purchase

Very impressed with how long I’ve had this drive.
I bought this in 2015. It’s still going strong today. It’s so easy to use and has went through lots of bumps and drops with no issues.

Fast but hot
Works awesome, but as others have said it gets hot. Data xfer speed is great.

Just a touch slower than my Nvme drive which is pretty darn fast and I'm happy.

In the end it does work
I purchased this drive to store and play music in my new Mazda. My vehicle requires a thumb drive to be formatted in FAT32. Fair warning, Windows explorer will not format anything over 32GB in FAT32. I tried alternate methods using the cmd prompt, but was unsuccessful. I finally had one of my daughter's friends reformat it, and she was successful. I did contact the manufacturer, who would only confirm that "it could" be formatted in FAT32, but never answered my queries on methods. In the end, it is now working, and as I do not like MP3's, I am putting all of my favorite CD's, in wav format, on the drive for in car use. I bought the 1 TB drive, and so far have 76 albums loaded so far. Based on the space still available, I estimate I can store approximately 1750 albums total, in wav format. That is amazing.

Transcend SSD Drive
So far, so good. I have had low memory and storage space on my Dell. It helped free up some additional space. I haven't moved all of the files yet. (Life gets in the way). I'm happy with it.

Super-fast OS loader
Expensive overkill if you're just using it for data or photo storage. It's really designed for use as an external SSD, like for loading and running an OS from a USB port.I installed MX Linux on it. Boots laptop in 10 or 12 seconds off USB 3 port.Several reviewers have mentioned it runs hot. Tip: The unit has two USB plugs (3 and C), one at each end. Take the plastic cap off the unused USB plug when in use. This will allow the exposed metal USB plug to act as an air-cooled heat sink and help keep the temperature down.

Works
I'm not sure I saw the claimed 1,050MB/s except in short bursts but I regularly saw 1/3 to 2/3 of that speed which is way faster than my old flash drive. It does get warm if you keep reading/writing to it in long stretches.
