I already had installed a non Wi-Fi timer in my garden and it went really well.But one I saw that other devise have WiFi also, I couldnt stop thinking of wanting one. So this is what I bought.I already have my router outside on a pillar to cover my Wireless cameras around the house. So WiFi coverage wasn't a problem in my case. The installation was successful and I sterter testing.Sincerely, there's so much more control in bring able to access a device remotely. I have WiFi and remote control on my boiler, air conditioner, cameras, lights, power socket, and now on my garden watering system.It works nicely for what I need it and no issues to complain about.

With the odd sunny day still to come i was after a way to water the garden. Already have a porous hose setup but needed a way to control it. This item seemed to fit the bill, works over wifi and using the app makes it really easy to turn on. Can set reminders, or turn it on via Alexa. Other comments suggest the app/connection is flaky, but ive not seen that yet, but we shall see!!App is a bit convoluted, but easy enough to navigate for those used to them.

Purchased this so water the green house while on holidays, and it is great. You can set timers together with Alexa, and ut waters the vegetable everyday at the same time. Just make sure you have no leaks, and it is a perfect solution.
