I don't fly without it!
This is where the screen should be! Put an iPad mini in this and take your drone photography to new heights! Does not obstruct your view of the controller as the other mounts do. Only wish is that it could hold the iPad in a case... but honestly it would be a bit too heavy then. I use a thin clear silicone skin and an anti-glare screen protector on the iPad and all is well. Easy to attach to the controller and iPad and is very stable. I recommend to use the neck lanyard as dropping this rig would be bad. You can get the short cable to go from the controller to the iPad here in Amazon. Only real issue is that it covers the ventilation ports of the controller so not recommended to use in hot conditions. Works great with phones too!Pro tip: Use your thumbs and pointer fingers to hold the joysticks for more precision control of your aircraft.

Very good. Holds tight, fits well, made well
This is a strong, well thought out holder. It's very easily placed and removed from the remote. Does not interfere with anything whatsoever. On my Lenovo Tablet, the button is in the middle. The gripper on this holder has slots on both sides to accommodate any buttons and not press on them. The gripper is adjustable in every direction.Altogether, this is for sure a 5 star well thought out and well made holder.

This is exactly what i was looking for.
I use an Ipad Mini when flying my Mavic 2 and the other tablet holder i used blocked my remote screen with the tablet no matter how i adjusted it. This one allows me to see both screens and keep track of some things that aren't shown on the DJI GO interface.I definitely recommend using the included lanyard so that you can let the remote hang on your sternum during longer automated flights. The material feels a little cheap but I believe that is in order to keep the weight down so the your controller isn't too top heavy. This holder fits the remote very well and none of the adjustable parts come loose. It can be difficult to disassemble for foldable storage and it takes up more space but the trade-offs and low price are well worth the utility. The only reason its getting 4 stars instead of 5 is the material selection- If Fstop Labs made a premium version of this I would gladly spend $20 more to purchase it. Overall i think 90% of people will be very happy with this product.

Solid alternative tablet bracket
Some people really like being able to see the LED display on their remote controller, even though most of the data is also available in the DJI Go app on their tablet. This bracket holds the tablet above the RC so the display is visible.I wasn't sure I was going to like this bracket when I first took it out of the box. It felt like flimsy plastic, and the latch mechanism for the part that goes around the RC didn't seem like it was strong enough to stay closed well.I needn't have worried. Upon closer inspection, this isn't typical plastic. It feels more like nylon or some other high-strength plastic composite that lends extra strength to the bracket. And once you put the RC in the bracket, the latch closes nice and tight. It won't come undone. And the tablet holder easily accommodates a 10.5-inch iPad Pro. A nylon neck lanyard also is included. There are plenty of adjustments available so you can position your tablet exactly to your liking. You do need to make sure to tighten all the hinges well so the weight of the tablet won't cause them to slip. But once you do that, this bracket is very solid and about as well balanced as you could hope for.The only real drawback: The bracket does make the 5D button on the controller difficult to use. I think I'll be able to fix this by drilling out the bottom corner of the bracket just slightly with a Dremel.Overall, this tablet holder is lightweight and easy to use.

A few screws loose and lost... Fstop found them!
First few uses were great! However, setting screws/Knobs will inevitably be lost as they dont hold tight and quickly become loose and lost. Now it resides in my junk drawer until I find replacement thumbscrews.Update:Great customer service and fast response from Fstop Labs, they immediately addressed my issue and resolved fully. I've found many great accessories that Fstop among others offer. After my experience with customer service I have no hesitation in making a purchase from this supplier.FYI: Just be careful when positioning phone or tablet so that the adjustment screws don't come loose and subsequently lost. This is a great mount and best value for your money. It holds any phone and tablets up to 10.5".

More junk in my case I’m not using.
The product is decent and has enough hinges so you Can adjust to your liking. It sits above the remote control and holds my iPad mini.However. 3 stars because I only used it twice because I find my iPad mini fits perfectly in the spark Remote controller anyway. There is no need for this product Plus the free cord they give you can’t be used because the spark remote doesn’t have a lip to hook the strap. So maybe good if you need your viewing higher up but I didn’t find it useful.

This doe fit the new Mavic Air controller and fits it very well.
I received the new addition that does fit the Mavic Air controller. They cut out a small section so it fits nicely between the 2 joysticks. If you have the new Mavic Air, be sure you order this new 2018 edition and clearly states it will fit the Mavic Air. The other one is only for the Mavic Pro or Spark, I have a full size 10" tablet so I was worried this might not be strong enough to hold it but it does a great job. I like this tablet holder over the type that mount your tablet in front of the controller which prevents you from being able to see the controls. Since my tablet is a 10" it does make it feel a bit top heavy but after using it for awhile, I didn't even notice it. The tablet holder has multiple sections which allow you to place your tablet in just about any position and angle you want. The included lanyard is very strong and can adjust so people like me with long arms can use it comfortably. It attaches very securely to the tablet holder and give you a nice feeling knowing if you slip the controller and your tablet won't go crashing to the ground. Overall I am very happy. For the price you cannot beat it.

Not recommended for 10" tablets
I have about 4 hours of flying time in with this device holder. It holds your device above the controller and gives a great view while flying. It may cause some interference with the reception as it covers the antenna (jury is still out on that point, it may have just been other issues that particular day). This would work great with device the size of an iPad mini or larger phones. It has ejected my 10.2" iPad (thankfully just onto the seat of my truck, and not the pavement). I have a thin case on iPad, and it fits inside the rubber cushions on the grips. To fit the 10.2" into the holder the springs are compressed very tight, and I believe this is what caused my iPad to be ejected. For my 10.2" iPad I would prefer something that is not spring loaded next time so that I can feel more secure.

Be aware of the size of your device
I bought this for the intended purpose of holding a Huawei MediaPad T3 tablet in place above my Mavic Air controller - I liked the design as it kept the screen away from the controller and didn't cover the controls or sticks. The plastic is durable and fits the controller well.Only issue I had was that, although my tablet was 7inches big across the diagonal of the screen, that was not the case when looking at the horizontal dimensions across the screen which was under 4 inches wide and therefore did not fit the tablet holder. I was still able to use the holder as I had a clip I use in the car for GPS which also attached via ball socket but is not ideal.
