This table is thick, heavy and has a beautiful simplicity to it. It is made of glossy acrylic that looks like clear glass. I love that the acrylic is more than a half inch thick. This table is sturdy and does not look or feel thin, flimsy or cheap. It has substantial weigt given its small size. The table's glossiness and sleek modern lines are eye-catching, yet because it is clear, it does not take up a lot of visual space or add visual clutter. The acrylic is all one piece and looks so smooth and sleek with no seams or joints. This table is on the small side but will work nicely as a chairside table or as a nightstand for a lower-height bed. You could also group several of them together as a cocktail or coffee table. The seller's measurements are correct, so double-check the measurements to what you want or need before ordering. It remains to be seen how durable the acrylic surface is as far as scratching. It looks lovely being so smooth, glossy and clear - I am trying to be extra careful with it so that it does not become scratched.Overall a sleek, eye-catching piece that is gorgeous in its simplicity. I love it.

This runs much smaller than normal end tables that ive seen so its very very short compared to the side of my couch.

This is one of those items that I am simply amazed with the quality and the look of, a definitel good order and maybe I need more as it is such a retro table but cool and modern and space aged. This is one of those items you hope will be durable and long lasting yet when it arrives it just blows you away with the quality of the product. This is a definite must have and if you are looking at it considering it just say YES and YES and Yes. it is 18" tall and 1/2 inch thick acrylic. It is very very strong and sijmply beautiful.

This is a well made, never going to break item. I was impressed by its appearance and quality. You can put hundreds of pound on this and it won’t budge. We have had it for months and it still doesn’t have a scratch and we are HARD on things. This is a good item and actually worth that price.
