Kids Storage
My son loves chalk and it seems we are bursting at the seems with it everywhere. Our old box finally busted so i needed a new one and purchase this. Its a perfect fit for what we needed and the price was just right.

STURDY BASE/EASY TO OPEN
The base of the bin is sturdy and firm.The top closure of the bin is easy to openbecause it's so cheaply mad with muchthinner plastic to the touch.It opens on it's own and doesn't seal.$30.00 dollars for a storage bin thatsells for half the price or less at mostother places is a rip off.It's not the worst, however is definitelyNOT worth $30.00 dollars, more like$5.00 dollars.I would not recommend this bin.

Hinged lid closing mechanism feels flimsy and plastic overall feels very thin
I was looking for a hinged lid container (where the lid is attached to the container so that you can't lose the lid) that isn't too large, and this is honestly the only one I found. Unfortunately, the lid leaves a lot to be desired. First off, it doesn't close smoothly, required one to push it down - the plastic pieces rub against each other. Additionally, it's difficult to open the lid, since there aren't "holds" other than the locking mechanism pieces. Which brings me to my last point - the locking mechanism pieces feel flimsy. Overall the storage container's plastic feels very thin.I previously had 7.5 and 15 QT sterilite hinged lid containers from ~10 years ago - but those seem to have been discontinued. The quality of those containers was vastly superior to this one. I'll be returning this.

Product is good for storage. The top does not clip down quite as securely as I was hoping it to, but only put things that wouldn’t spill out in it.
