Poor customer service
I bought a Bionaire steam mop about 18months ago was very satisfied with its performance, ialso purchased various replacement mop heads and filters, so I had some spare ones in my possession, then things started to go wrong with the mop, no steam so I rang customer service I was told to try some vinegar to clear it, didnt work so I rang again was then told that was all the advise they could give me except to take it to a repair shop, I dont live convenient to a repair shop and it would probably cost more for an engineer to look at it anyway. I was more or less forced to purchase another Bionaire as I had the spares in the house for this mop, but so far so good, it is performing as usual long may it continue.May I also add the holder which you wind the lead round is lose on the new one to much trouble to send it back for such a small complaint I am now waiting for some considerate male to come along to see if it can be tightened.

Steam Mop
Fast and efficient delivery, have used this item a number of times on various floors. Only thing I can find fault, maybe just me is that the water holder part isn't very big so doesn't take long to empty, that said very easy to refill and ready to go again in seconds. Would certainly recommend.

Expected to last a bit longer
I was initially thrilled with my steam mop and its ability to remove dirt but after a year the electrics failed.I wish I'd bought a more expensive model with tools, which I'm now doing.

bionaire steam mop
I purchased this item in may and have found it fantastic, so easy to use takes all the hard work out of cleaning my tiled floors,had cause to phone bionaire when I thought I had problem with my steam mop they were very friendly and gave advice that worked first time,it turned out not to be a problem with the steam mop. Fantastic.since writing the first review i have now purchased a second bionaire steam mop this was a a friend who was very impressed with mine so wanted one for herself.

Bionaire Steam Mop
The first steam mop became faulty after about two months of very light use. Amazon replaced very quickly. As for operation of the mop, the flex is too short and the water tank is too small. It cleans ok but two mop heads are only sufficient to clean one or two floors as they get dirty very quickly. I wouldn't say that this is massive improvement over the mop and bucket and question the reliabilty long term.

Steam Mop
Does what it says on the tin and is now in daily use, particularly in the kitchen and laundry room where the dog goes in and out. Both have laminated tiles, and the steam mop is very suitable for the type of floor.

Broken after six months..
Purchased the mop in June 2011 and it worked fine for the first couple of months; I agree with the other posters that the tank is so small it constantly needs refilling so it takes ages to mop the floors... Switched it on this morning and it just gurgled - no steam, just gurgling! It's been on for 15 minutes and still no steam so I'll have to consign it to the tip and dig out my old mop and bucket. It wasn't cheap to buy and the additional towelling heads were also expensive so it's a case of traditional methods over modern. I wouldn't bother with this 'steam' mop, it's not even a mop, it's just cluttering up my cupboard...

THis mop has transformed cleaning my hard floors. It heats up really fast, is really easy to use and takes no time to clean floors - my kitchen has been mopped more times in the last few weeks than the last few years! And no expensive mop heads to buy - just bung them in the washing machine!
