Perfect Flavor: NONE
I see reviews writing "it tastes bad". Get over it you big babies! It doesn't. I have an allergy to peppermint and other unnatural man-made toxic flavorings and this is perfect! After the first few times the flavor is irrelevant and you get used to it. It cleans and cleans well. I don't wake up after brushing before going to bed with a mouth full of slimy coating on my teeth and bad aftertaste like I did with the other fake flavored toothpastes. I use Cleure for all my teeth brushing and haven't had any dental problems. The paste is smooth and I don't have irritation. It's great...I just wish the price point was a little lower since there's less added garbage in it.

No mint, MINIMAL foam
Tremendous find!! Finally a toothpaste that does not overly foam (there's still a tiny amount for those sensitive), has a pleasant or inert taste which is not mint, cinnamon or other sweet flavor that leaves the mouth feeling sticky. Please never stop making this product.

Gentle Toothpaste That Leaves My Mouth Feeling Clean
I was looking for a fluoride-free toothpaste that didn't contain a lot of extra flavors or ingredients, and this has been a great find. It has a very mild taste, which I actually prefer, especially since many toothpastes are a little too intense for me. It foams lightly, cleans well, and leaves my teeth feeling smooth without any lingering aftertaste. It's also gentle enough that it doesn't irritate my mouth. If you're looking for a simple, fluoride-free toothpaste with a mild flavor, this is definitely worth trying.

Enjoying no flavor
This toothpaste is perfect for me. Other toothpastes burn my mouth but this one does not and my teeth feel so clean. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because I have such a hard time getting the paste out of the hard thick tube. It was only half full when I received it.

Good toothpaste for sensitive mouth
This stuff is great. It doesn’t hurt my moth like the flavored toothpastes do. I was hesitant about how the unflavored would taste, but the best way I can think to describe it is it tastes how baking soda smells. It doesn’t taste like much, but it does leave my mouth feeling clean. It reminds me of something the dentist would use to clean your teeth, but without the weird texture. The texture of this is good, it’s not gritty or anything. Good effectiveness Good appearance Good ingredients

A Safe and Very Healthy Alternative
Due to an autoimmune condition, I develop mouth sores which are painful and challenging. I switched to Cleure toothpaste because it is fluoride free, SLS free and great for sensitive teeth and gums. I am also happy that it is cruelty free!!! I highly recommend Cleure toothpaste!

NEWEST REVISED INGREDIENTS ARE AWFUL!!
SECOND REVISED REVIEW: FORMULA CHANGE AGAIN!!!! It is now May 2026 and last night I opened the first tube of my most recent order of this toothpaste which I have been buying for years. At first I didn't notice the VERY slightly revised tube design but as soon as the toothpaste entered my mouth I could tell that the formula is now very different. It has a noticeable sharp bitter taste that was never there before, and it left my tongue feeling irritated and dry for several hours afterward. Drinking multiple glasses of water did not help at all. Even the next morning it did not feel back to normal. I immediately compared the ingredients on the newest tube with the ones on the tube that I had just finished. Here are the differences: 2022-2025 Ingredients: Dicalcium phosphate, glycerin, purified water, Xylitol, xanthan gum, baking soda, sodium laurylglucosides hydroxypriopylsulfonate CURRENT REVISED INGREDIENTS: Purified water, glycerin, xanthan gum, sodium bicarbondate (baking soda), calcium carbonate, xylitol, sodium laurylglucosides hydroxypriopylsulfonate Cleure has replaced the dicalcium phospate with calcium carbonate. Not good. Time for another brand!! REVISED REVIEW: Please be aware that as of mid-October 2022, the Amazon page does NOT reflect the revised formulation of this toothpaste, nor its re-designed tube. The new formula version's tube has a teardrop shape design in the center. Now as to the formula changes, which are noticeable compared to the excellent original product that I first reviewed. Ingredients are typically listed with the largest-percentage (greatest amount of) ingredient first, and the least-present ingredient last. The original formula ingredients were: Purified water, Xylitol, Dicalcium phosphate, Glycerin, Baking soda (sodium bicarbonate), xanthan gum, sodium lauroyl sarcosinate. The original taste was very pleasant, with a slight sweetness from the Xylitol. HOWEVER, the REVISED formula ingredients are: Dicalcium phosphate, glycerin, purified water, Xylitol, xanthan gum, baking soda, sodium laurylglucosides hydroxypriopylsulfonate The change has resulted in hardly any sweetness at all, because now there is less Xylitol. And strangely, even though there is supposedly less water, the new paste has a runnier texture which means (a) you are likely to end up putting more on your brush than you intended, and (b) it disappears a lot faster while you are brushing with it. People who loved the taste of the original formulation will notice the difference right away. I am disappointed in the change and contacted the manufacturer. They replied that they have no plans to change the new formula but that my opinion will be forwarded to the developers (which probably means my email will end up in the Trash folder but I felt I had to say something. ) A word about the cleanser ingredient change, from Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate to Sodium Laurylglucosides Hydroxypriopylsulfonate (SLH). I looked up SLH and there is no data for it on the EWG site. However, other sites suggest that SLH may have a lower incidence of accidental contamination than the previous ingredient did. So that seems to have been a change for the better, although slight. And lastly, someone should have proofread the wording on the back of the new tube because the first section is grammatically incorrect, LOL. I was in publishing and a mistake like that making it all the way through to the production line would have gotten someone called on the carpet bigtime, if not fired. Because the toothpaste itself is slightly less pleasant to use than it used to be, I've deducted one star from my original five-star review. It's still better than the alternatives I have tried, but not as good as it used to be before they mucked around with the formula. It wasn't broke, so why'd they "fix" it? :-/ ORIGINAL REVIEW: When my go-to no-mint toothpaste (Natural Dentist Not Yucky Grape) changed their formula recently and effectively ruined it (it is now awful, so if you are looking for a truly no-mint-at-all product, do not waste your money on that one), I went on the hunt again. As a senior, my dentist wants me to use a fluoride toothpaste to help keep demineralization (which is more common as we age) at a minimum, but all the specialists paste have mint which I can't tolerate in any form. My first two post-Grape tests were this paste, and Tasty Paste's mint-free orange version. The orange one was an epic fail because the orange flavor itself can burn your tongue for hours afterward. This paste, thankfully, does not. I can definitely taste the Sodium Bicarbonate in it but that's okay. My only concern is the lack of flouride. I will be asking my dentist if I should follow up with a flouride rinse afterward, IF (big if!!!) I can find one that is totally mint-free. But so far, this Cleure paste is in the lead as far as taste (or, more accurately, the blissful lack thereof, LOL.) ;-D

Not much product in new tube
This is the third time I have ordered this product, you would think I would learn! I can’t use toothpaste with fluoride, so my choices are limited. The brand new tube can’t be more than 1/3 full, or even less, and it ain’t cheap!! Product itself is fine, pretty tasteless, but serves what I need it for. I’ll be looking for another option in the future. Sort of a rip off.
