He gets lots of positive comments at the Rubik's cube speed events we attend, and it's a nice size/material. The timer itself goes through batteries a little quicker than I thought it would, but it works well.

This is my first experience with a speed timer & mat, but I’m impressed. The rubber mat is thick and rubbery with good grip. The timer grabs on to two plastic knobs that are screwed in place. The timer can be removed easily, leaving the knobs attached to the mat. Even with the knobs attached, the mat can be rolled up and stored with the timer in an included drawstring bag.The timer seems accurate enough. In one out of twenty or so tries the timer doesn’t stop, but I think this is due to us missing one of the sensors when we try to tag it.We’ve tried this as a speed stacking mat as well, but it’s a bit too small to work well for that.

This is a very cool timer and mat set and the color scheme is great but the timer could be better but overall for a beginner I highly recommend it.

We had to throw this timer away when it heated up so much that it was too hot to touch. Not a safe product!

I got this for my brother as he is a cuber and it has been great. Him and his son love having races to see who can be the greatest!!!! Lots of fun and easy to use. A must have for the cuber in your family.

The package includes the timer, a very thick mat, buttons for the mat, an excellent quality carrying bag, and a manual in Chinese. Compared to the mat with SpeedStacks G5, this mat is a few times thicker and heavier. There are 4 holes on the mat where the “buttons” can be installed so the timer won’t move. You just need 2 holes to install the buttons. The other 2 holes have different separations if you want to use another timer on this mat.I can put this timer on the mat from G5, but one of the buttons is in the bigger hole of this timer. It is a litter longer and skinnier than G5. It only has 2 pads compared to G5, which has 2 and 4-pad modes. The operation is about the same as G5 and turns itself off after 10 minutes. The manual is written in Chinses, so I want to translate it here. The bottom left is the 2.5 mm port for external display; the bottom right is the “reset” button. You have to reset the current timer in order to use it again. On top of the timer, the buttons from left to right are selection, save, and on/off. To save the time: one push the save button and then hold the save button to save it. After pushing the save button once, you can click the “selection” button to choose which of the 3 memories you want to save time.Reset button: short push to clear the timer. 1-second push to display the 5-time average, 2-second push to display the 12-time average, and 3-second push to display the all-time average.It is an excellent timer with a mat and carrying bag. I would highly recommend it.
