So well built and sturdy!
We have tri d a different brand and it was horrible and we had to return it so we were super excited when this arrived and the parts snapped together beautifully, stacked well together and we're so sturdy. Even the saucer can be attached to the parts so it comes together when you life the planters. Perfect!

These pots are ABSOLUTELY wonderful. The material is sturdy and because the pots are stackable makes it more of a great item. I'm so glad that I made this purchase and I'm looking forward to some great strawberries this summer.

So far, so good --but adjustments made
Gave up growing strawberries in the garden because of ravenous teeny, tiny baby slugs (can't tell a strawberry seed from a curled up baby slug hiding over a seed on the berry...the learning curve was disgusting!) Having read the reviews, I was aware of the too-large drain hole issues but decided the extra large size (5-pack--I bought an extra single to make two 3-tier containers) would be the solution to safeguarding strawberry plants and save space on my deck at a reasonable price. They seem very sturdy and hook atop each other well. I thought the wheeled saucer offered by the company was too expensive, so bought matching 18" saucers locally. I used caulking and window screening to completely stop up some drain holes, while leaving the rest only partially blocked. Because they aren't that high, I'm not putting pvc pipe thru the center, so caulked a circle of window screening over each center hole, then used a coffee filter to slow down the drainage and keep soil contained. So far with all our spring rains, I have no soil escaping and it all seems to drain well--no plants planted yet which is the real test. I'm not much of a plant pot waterer and use coconut coir added to potting soil to maintain soil moisture (plus western Pa tends to be rainy). Only 4 stars because of all the work to fix drainage; otherwise I think it will work well. I'm looking forward to eating berries this summer.

My strawberries are loving this.
Each tier is big enough to grow strong roots, yet the size is still very manageable. I have rearranged tiers repeatedly. Glad I didn't get the smaller version. My daughter bought one and planted both berries and herbs in hers.
