This piece of solid wood (butcher block) gave new life to my desk setup.Arrived with just one of the 8 corners rounded, the rest of corners and edges were smooth to the touch. The slightly damaged edge is not visible as it’s facing the bottom side, so I can work with that. Also these boards are known to have a pretty side and an ugly side. The minimal damage was on the ugly side, another win.The piece was already factory sanded, but I hand sanded my piece for additional smoothness. Before the first coat of finish I used 220 grit. Before the second coat, I lightly sanded with 320 grit. I used Natura One-coat and it gave it a clean and slightly darker tint, VERY smooth to the touch, this finish also gives it that natural feel and look while also providing excellent protection from the elements.Photos from first to last:1. I wish I took the time to take photos. I see some people had some bad luck with theirs coming in damaged. I'm not sure if they made any changes but mine was flawless. The packaging was pretty good too. That is what I wish I took photos of to see if maybe they improved their packaging after seeing prior complaints. Stained it and using it as a office desk and I'm happy with my purchase.

I used this in my bathroom as the vanity countertop. It stained really well and the quality is amazing.

Well made and heavy and solid. We used it as a counter top for our custom wet bar. We cut through it to add sink. Very happy.

It’s a beautiful surface. Very soft wood as can be expected at this price point. Unfortunately the sides were exposed and got pretty dinged up during shipping. I reached out to the seller, and they were very quick to offer a generous partial refund.

Packaging was intact. No dents or dings. Finish is smooth. I ordered the longest option (90ish inches); it is warped/bowed by almost a half inch in the center. It was stored flat and allowed to acclimate to room temp immediately after receiving it. For now, I have approx 500 lbs distributed across the warped area; hoping to gradually correct the warp before installing it.
