1 x 6 Way Consumer Unit, comes pre-assembled with a 63 Amp 30mA RCD safety switch and 6 x Type B Circuit Breakers, 2 x 6 Amps (Ideal for Lighting Circuits), 2 x 16 Amps (Ideal for heaters, appliances, or dedicated switches / sockets) and 2 x 32 Amps (Ring mains, ideal for wall sockets). This unit is assembled by A1electrics in our warehouse in the UK, we assemble the unit with a busbar and a neutral link. *** This consumer unit is made from plastic - In the UK, regulations mean that it can not be installed inside the home or in a building attached to the home / domestic dwellings. If you have an electrician lined up to install the unit, please get in touch with the electrician first before purchasing, as some electricians now refuse to work with plastic units. *** This unit can still be installed in a detached garage, shed, outbuildings and any other building not attached to the home / domestic dwelling. This unit is IP65 rated so it can be installed in buildings prone to condensation etc, it can also be installed outside, installer must ensure they properly seal any holes they make for cable entry. The unit does not come with any guides for cable entry, the sides are plain all around, the installer has to make their own cable entry hole using a holesaw and should seal the hole with a suitable waterproof gland. This unit comes with an easy open hinged inspection door, the door is tinted but is see-through enough to check mcbs without opening the door. The dimensions of this unit are 210mm Tall x 215mm Wide x 105mm Deep. Front cover is held to the base with screws, to access the screws behind the door hinge, you push the door all the way back and it will snap off the hinge. Wiring and installation instructions are not supplied with the unit
