what distance does the remote work to

the effictive distance is 20 meters, the remote model is GX-IR05, and for 5'' 6 digits clock, all of stock in FBA warehouse is GX-IR05, so the distance is 20 meters.

Can this be used outdoors? What is the battery life?

Dear, this is semi-outdoor model, it mean the brightness of screen can fulfill the outdoor use,but it's not waterproof design, so in raindays it can not be use, for sunny or cloudy days, it is good for its brightness, and if you use it indoor, you can adjust the brightness according to your need. Another question is, this is adaptor powerd, not battery powered, but if you need battery, you can buy a power bank for it, it has connection for this also.

Hi, just purchased and looks great. it does not have a dc power lead why not? also please confirm the dc power requirements so i can get a battery

Dear, we have prepare 2 different adaptor inside the package, one is UK standard DC adaptor, another is EU standard, the inlet voltage for DC is 12V, you can use power bank for it also, thank you.
