I got this bag as we have quite a few extra knives that we keep in just a "knife drawer" but most of them do not have sheaths with them so it can be very unsafe grabbing the one you need. I wanted to have a better solution for keeping those knives organized and safe and stored away and I must say this works great for that. Only complaint I have, and its ONLY for my application, is the bag is a little to long. I understand it needs to be long for longer bread knives and forks, and this is to be used for Chef's to carry their knives around but I wanted to test the usage another way and it works great!!

We have used a canvas knife bag for a set our knives but this one raises the game. It is very heavy duty in the material and makes me feel safe putting the sharp blades in. It is of good size to handle a wide range of knives and other equipment. The materials are good, the buckles are strong (the zipper could be better) but I didn't find that I would store to much there. It rolled smoothly and closed well.This would definitely supports a custom set of knives and protects them.
