I last my last leatherback whilst away and have replaced it with this one which is greatUnfortunately. There is another, better version, which I want aware of until I read the instructions , which can attach jigsaw blades and other bayonet fittings, which would have suited me much more but what hey! A great multi tool. I will cherish it for many years.

I've got exactly what I asked for, and really fast.

Broke within a week. Sliding action on my pliars was very stiff, they never wore in and became loose. I think mine is an isolated case but they were not good

A real bargain and versatile. A sort of grown up swiss army knife. 4 stars because the one handed description is quite frankly pushing it, you can open it with one hand but you probably won't bother twice!Additional comments after eight weeks of daily use. It is still awesome, one tiny problem is that the pouch is wearing thin now and will have to be replaced. One reviewer suggested the pliers do not lock in the open position, well mine do and you have to press the release buttons to close it.

Very poorly made compared to previous Leatherman tools I have owned. The amount of free play in the spring loaded pliers is surprisingly large, giving a loose, sloppy action in use. My battered old Leatherman this replaces didn't have as much play in it after a decade of abuse. I would return this product immediately if it wasn't for the fact that I need to use it immediately, and I guess a poor tool is probably still better that no tool at all.I feel ripped off and I won't be buying any more Leatherman products online without trying them out first. Very disappointed.

My old one Leatherman Wave now is the best. This OHT has one int.solution - sliding pliers and that's all.That pliers does not fixed in work mode))), but you can fix it in closed mode. Why? Very silly.Main blade (look at the draw) is near cutter, but serrator is on the another side. Why? Silly.Cause if you want blade quickly to cut, you open a hook! My old one Leatherman Wave has and the main blade and serrator on the one side of the tool. If you turn out tool - you open or serrator, or main blade.Pliers are very week and lips bending...It is not for serious metal work -, its only for wood, like the survival knife.Military knife? Do not make me fanny...Price is very high. Not recommend. Buy Leatherman Wave - Classic and reliable.

I've had this for 18 months now and it's a very handy piece of kit. If you need a set of pliers that you can open one handed this is your tool.It takes some practice (and a bit of oil occasionally) to get the hang of opening but once you've got it its very quick to open and you can do it wearing gloves.The other tools are not so easy to open and are a bit difficult to put away so it won't replace your one hand opening rescue knife for example. Having said that I would always carry a separate knife any way and once deployed the other bits of kit on this are very good.The quality of this item is very high and it feels strong and capable for most jobs.The pouch it comes with is ok and is the molle system type. I have mounted this on a molle armour carrier with a lanyard and it's been there for over a year without any issues through a lot of punishment.This tool has come in very handy on delicate MOE jobs, repairs, opening ammo boxes and general admin. If the knife was a little easier to get to it would be 5 stars.I can highly recommend this item. I wouldn't be without it.
