Never worked as it should - right out of the box spun, raised then got stuck
I have several other Lemax carnival rides (merry go round, sky swing, tea cups, donner reindeer flight) and they all work but they are fragile. It must be that the design of of this one is wonky. Ordered two Round Up, returned two. The first one raised, spun and then would remain raised. The second one spun like it was out of control all wobbly. Actually considered keeping it because it gave a cool danger ride feel but it never raised so that one went back too. I will have to live without this design - the round up ......I will move on to another type perhaps the paradrop. I am still a Lemax fan but they need to work on the Round Up.

remindes me of going to a church picnic
ilike the red and blue on it. i like the round up carnival ride. i ride it about all bunch of times. when it comes to my church picnic. every other year. when the carnival ride compony brings it . it is so populer ride with the adtults and kids. since the covid 19 came along .my church called off the picnic this year. so when i saw this round up carnival ride on amazon .com the seller the holiday house . i think it is the name of the store in new york. this will help me be happy when i turn it on. it will bring me back to the good old days befor the covid 19.came a long and put a dampper on it.thank you amazon and holiday house. and lemax inc. too bad they are not making the round up any more.

We had seen this before so we knew what we were getting. My wife has a pretty large Christmas village with an amusement park area. This was one piece she still wanted. It looks great and works fine. Nothing broken when removed from the box. As anyone who buys these thing knows, their longevity can be a crap shoot-but so far so good!
