The only issue I have with this product is the amount of time it takes to run 4 gallons through the filter before using. Otherwise the product works as advertised. Water has a fresh taste.

Perfect Replacement for Fridge
Look up your fridge model before you order any filter. I did just that. This filter is a perfect fit. Easy install. Be careful with the tiny black o rings when installing. Insert gently. Dump your 1st 3 gallons of filtered water after replacing. Enjoy.

Did not work
I bought the 2 pack and neither one worked with my whirlpool fridge. I installed them and as soon as I shut the little door the fridge started making a weird sound and no water would come out of the dispenser.I read the reviews beforehand and decided to take a chance because the price is so low compared to the everydrop ones and it seems like they work for most people, but in the end they did not work.

Good replacement part?
I bought this for a Whirlpool WRS571CIHV04 refrigerator. It installed easily and appears to be perfectly good replacement for the original water filter.
