Diller Pickleball Paddle 4 Player Bundle (Set Includes 4 Paddles & 6 Balls)…

Have had to regrip a couple. Alot of use.

I love this set but I was told that the paddle and the balls in this set are not official. The balls that leagues play with are bigger and so is the paddle. Good as a starter set but if you want to progress, you will need to purchase something different.

The park behind my house recently put in 4 pickleball courts, so I purchased this set in an effort to have more outdoor time with my boys. My kids are 5 and 9 and this is a fun activity that gets the 9-year-old off video games. The paddles are great, I love the wrist strap to keep them in place. The ball color is great too - the lime green helps to differentiate our balls from anyone else's when they accidentally go on another court or outside of the court. This is a fun sport that the boys beg to play every single day.

These are a good deal for the money. However as some others have encountered, the grip tape is not well done. One of the grips fell apart almost immediately. Luckily I have experience re-gripping racquets and was able to repair but I expect a better result from the first few uses.

I am a beginner to pickleball. Having played table tennis (ping pong), tennis and badminton, I had no issues getting started with this kit in my backyard. The grips on the rackets are comfortable. The rackets are light enough for children to get started. They are sturdy enough to last unless you drop them or hit stationary objects. The green balls that came with it are lightweight. After some research I found they are indoor balls. They will swerve with the wind. For outdoor play, do get outdoor balls which bouce higher and swerve less with the wind. Diller should create a set with outdoor balls.

We played pickle ball a few summers ago on vacation and got hooked. The hotel we stayed in had these paddles, so we ordered them on our way home. We showed up at the local pickle ball courts with these and looked like total dorks. Nobody uses them. Spend the extra money and get the honeycomb paddles. Completely worth the upgrade.The exception is if you just want them for kids to play with in the driveway or neighborhood, then these are probably the paddles for you.

I like the quality of the paddles. I bought this set for outdoors & the Amazon article didn't say if the balls were for outdoor. The net is expensive for a novice; therefore, some ideas for improvising would be great.As a P.E. teacher, I taught pickleball as a lead up game for tennis for M.S. students. I bought the set for my grand niece's 11th birthday party. I was relieved when her uncle shouted out, "I love pickle ball". With the help of the uncle & myself, I hope that the family learns to love pickleball also. (I used Diller Pickleballs in my classes)

In our neighborhood, a new pickleball court was built. Our teenage granddaughters are always kept busy with outdoor activities when they visit us. They wanted to learn to play pickleball. This set was perfect as it also came with instructions on how to play the game. We enjoyed learning/playing with the grandchildren. This set might not be good enough for professional players, but good quality for fun with the kids.
