I love this guy!
At first I was a little unsure because I made the mistake of not reading product details and he is plastic. Also, you can see the seem from his leg to his body which is the reason for one star missing. Other than that, I am obsessed with this lamp. I’m an artist and needed a desk lamp for my art space and this is perfect. It’s nice and bright and doesn’t cast weird shadows since the bulb is exposed. I work for hours sometimes and the bulb stays nice and cool to the touch. There’s an easy flip switch to turn it on and off. The bulb stays in place. Plus he just is super fun and moody and cool looking. He’s very sturdy even though he’s pretty lightweight.

Cute light!
Super cute light. Some reviewers said the bulb that came with it was too bright. We tried some other options for a bulb and ended up liking the one that came with the lamp so don't let that be a negative for you. We love the way it looks up on a ledge/shelf in the room we got it for. Great accent light.

super disappointing
bought this as a gift for my daughter. it seemed so well packaged that i left it in the box thinking it would be fine. when she opened it we discovered that 1. the light does not work the bulb apparently does because we tried it in another lamp that worked so the cord must be the problem. and also both legs are snapped forward.. not even sure how that is possible since it was packaged in form fitting foam. whatever the reason. it was super disappointing to give it to her and find out it was in this bad of condition. no damage to box or packaging just the crow and light cord.
