Good tankless hot water heater
It's been about a year when I got the water heater and the water heater still working great. The water flow is low but the water is so hot that it will burn you. Why I wait this long to write a review I seen other reviews saying it's junk but it's not I'm happy with mine

Be realistic!!!
Ok, so I flip houses for a living. This is my 4th tankless , and my 1st vevor 18k. Here’s the deal with these electric tankless water heaters. They won’t run every outlet you have at once unless you step up to the really big ones that run off gas. But if you are creative they will run a few.So when I hook these up usually they won’t heat up all they way because the inlet water temp is to cold. Here’s what I do, and have never had a problem. When I run the water lines to the input , I’ll put a T at the top of input and a T on the top of output. Then put a one way check valve alllowing the hot water to go into the input side , allowing the input temp to climb high enough to heat the water effectively. Works every time. 14k and up. I’ve never had anything smaller but hopefully you understand what I’m takkkbg about.Look at the top of my pic. You’ll understand better. The check valve won’t let cold water to flow into the output but lets hot water into the input side. Raising the temp,

Great Space Saver
Was amazed by this product for its size and how well it heats up water so quickly... so glad I went from the big water heater to this space saver.

Does not heat the water at all, despite showing a temp of 138 deg F??? Complete waste of money
Here is just some of a thread from Vevor support when addressing their faulty product, this went on for some time. Please don't waste your money on this as it appears to have a high failiure rate, and the customer support is inept.4 Jan 2025, 05:36to me-------[vevor.com]-------Dear CustomerThank you for your letter. We understand your needs and are reporting them to our technicians. They will handle your need01:38 (5 hours ago)to me-------[vevor.com]-------Hello,Thanks for your patience.Regarding your question, please try to disconnect the hot water pipe connected to the hot water outlet, and then directly discharge water to see if hot water can be discharged at this time. If hot water can be discharged, it may be a problem with the pipe. If not, it may be a problem with the water pressure or the flow sensor of the water heater.07:21 (1 minute ago)to supportThe water runs through the unit just fine. The water pressure is regulated properly. The pipes are brand new, as with the entire installation. The unit does not discharge any hot water. IT IS FAULTY. We are wasting each other's time. Your company has zero business ethics and your support is inept and designed to do completely the opposite of its customary function.

Installation woes by design
I’ve never installed a tankless water heater before. Maybe they’re all this way (but I hope not). First of all, I’d give it a “D+” for ease of installation. Like I said, it’s my first install… but I’m an accomplished diy plumber and I’m an industrial electrician and mechanic by trade, so this ain’t my first rodeo! It seems to me that a proper design for an appliance such as this would include a back housing that would easily and solidly attach to the wall; allow for installation of water lines and electrical connections; then the cover or face panel would attach securely to the front of the housing to finish. Not this baby!!! The front panel (with controls) is inconveniently and inexplicably attached and detached from the back with four long screws. (There is also absolutely no mention in the instructions about how to remove the panel, so you’ll have to figure that out on your own!) I had to temporarily attach the unit to the wall, install water lines and power cables, then I had to enlist some help to hold the unit away from the wall (with two 3/4” PEX pipes and two 8/2 220V electric cables attached) while I wrangled the cover back in place and threaded in the screws from the back. I can only imagine how difficult it will be when maintenance is required. As for now, it seems to be working as expected, but I have not done any rigorous testing yet. This is an 18kW unit installed in a house with one tub/shower, two sinks, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Should be well within the design parameters for our region. I’d have to give it a tentative “A” for preliminary performance, but I’ll update once we’ve put some serious demand on the unit and we’ve been able to determine if the efficiency is what we are anticipating.UPDATE; After three months, I have upgraded my rating from three stars to four. Unit is operating very well and seems to be quite efficient. One caveat I would issue is this: since this unit is being shipped to you as an individual unit (as opposed to being shipped as a pallet load going to a supplier or retailer) you should fully depress the little black reset buttons on each of the heater elements prior to installation. Rough handling could cause them to activate prematurely during normal operation, as one of them seems to have done on mine.

Amazing
So far this is an amazing water heater this is the second one we had to purchase because duentonan electricity issue the first one burnt up on. ( Different brand) just wish the description of the fittings were correct. Somewhere in the specs it says it has a smaller npt then it actually does. To our surprise we were fully prepared to have to use an an adapter for the water intake but we are glad we didn't. We now have full pressure hit water when needed definitely recommend this water heater.
