Wow, it actually does work!
Main water heater is 50 feet away from my muster bathroom. It takes FOREVER for hot water to get worm in my 2 sinks and a shower. I installed it in my crawling space right were the pipes start to split for different sinks and a shower. It only takes seconds for the water to get worm/hot enough for my use. I was very skeptical though when I placed an order for this unit. Just remember, you need 2 #10 wires with a ground to power this unit as it runs on 220v.

Lukewarm water at best
Barely heats water, extremely underpowered. If you're going to do this, buy a 240V model

Work good but caused catastrophe.
The unit worked well for months then I came home to a flood caused by major leak within the unit.

I installed this in a bathroom sink and must say, it performs very well. It certainly can maintain as much hot water as you would ever need in a bathroom sink. I highly recommend it.

Works well to create hot water fast in a warm climate
We ordered four tankless water heaters to install in new apartments that we were building in Aruba. Traditional building in Aruba does not provide hot water to showers since the temperature of the water in the pipes can reach almost 80 degrees F. However, guests renting for vacations expect hot water. The Ecotouch units seemed better built than options we could buy locally, and we were concerned about durability since they have to be mounted outside. We've been using them for the last several months, and they work very well in that environment (desert, never gets below 70 degrees). They're just boosting the already warm temperature. They provide hot water fast, and keep up even when the "rainfall" shower heads are on with a heavy flow.
