For the money this little smoker, grill is away for most people that want to get into smoking meat inexpensively. I've been playing with mine and so far it's producing great. A highly recommend at least three burn-offs of at least 500°. Before you ever cook anything it smells toxic burning It off. After 3 Hot 🔥.... I seasoned the hood with bacon grease. Seems like we are becoming good friends I love smoking meats.

I've owned 4 different Chargriller smokers over the past 20 years and the quality of manufacturing has declined beyond what is acceptable for the price or even for basic usability. Parts of the smoker had to be pounded out with a hammer to fix manufacturing flaws which led to the exterior coating cracking, the thermometer probe was bent and broken, the grills do not fit in the body of the smoker and constantly slip off of the braces, and the lid won't properly sit on the body so temperature control is going to be a problem.Overall, I am incredibly disappointed in this purchase and the decline of a once-reputable company.

Used to be you could get a decent grill fir a couple hundred bucks. Not anymore. I got this not only was it dented before assembly. After assembly it's proven to be even worse than we thought. Poor quality, wobbly. Really wish I could return it. It's pure junk!

I have one now which is wearing out. I thought that I was buying the same model. This one is 20% smaller on the large grilling/smoking side.

The smoker/ firebox has been working great and so has the grill . This is not as heavy duty as some of the other side by side smoker/ BBQ grills but being 100 lbs lighter really makes moving it a lot easier . Putting it together was not a big deal all the hardware came in a sealed wrap so all the nuts bolts washers and pins needed for assembly where present. So far I am completely satisfied with this purchase . I know it won’t last 25 years like my last one but hopefully it last a few if I keep it clean and dry .

Wasn't able to write the truth because it wouldn't be posted. Simply stated - Don't Buy.Edit -6 - 17 - 24 recieved my replacement grill today and it wasn't much better. Top and bottom were bent or bowed out. This brand isn't what it used to be. The box was in perfect condition, so these parts were like this from the factory. Very disappointing. Won't buy this brand again.

An example of shrinkflation because the steel gauge is less than in same product of a few years ago; pieces are only tack welded together; iron grate is much thinner than previously and parts are not coated; paint readily chips off; places are nearly painted or missing; generally poor fit and finish; assembly instructions are difficult. I would return it if it wasn’t too heavy (115 lbs) to take to the Amazon drop-off.
