I chose this as a gift for a friend who has lovely handwriting and keeps good records, notes of her life. She has recently moved home, so I imagine this may be useful to record sizes of rooms, work done, etc in her new home.The colours are so bright and sparkling, the butterflies as beautiful as can be, the shimmering effect of the metallic colours is gorgeous. Paperblanks hardback notebooks/journals are my favourites; they are made to last a lifetime or longer. There is a handy wallet section inside for tucking away mementos, tickets, receipts, and a ribbon marker.Using a book of this quality is a pleasurable experience, it is a calming, valuable, impressive item to own Perhaps keeping it in a handbag, or on a desk.
