Amazing once you get the hang of it!
The instructions aren't the best. But basically put the locking bar in the position specified & set the code. Put it in place (shed) still on your code. Hold it in the locking position, now shuffle the numbers. Its now locked. Done!

Just a bit stiff to turn the number dials sometimes.
This is the 2nd lock I've bought, the first one has been on an outside gate for years. It stil works but is still on some of the number dials. The new one is still already, so I'll spray it with WD40 and I'm sure it will be ok.

Outside lock
So far it has been perfect. This has been on an outside gate, used frequently by people for the last month and a half through bad weather, and there hasn't been any problems.I'm very pleased!

Rusted in a month
This rusted within a month even though it’s meant for outdoor use. The numbers are so hard to turn as well.

Not very easy to operate, doesn't seem to have been well thought through
The lock seems robust and a video I watched by an independent Youtube reviewer suggests that it's fairly robust. Sadly it's really not that easy to operate. I have normally functioning hands and struggle to get the numbers to turn in perfect weather conditions, even more so when the lock is wet. I often have to fetch a cloth to help turn the cogs. I assumed the cogs would work better with use, but after 5 months there is no sign of any improvement. The cover can also be challenging to open at times. It's not expensive and does work, but I'd definitely suggest anyone with hand dexterity issues tries another product. It seems Yale are still turning out products rather than lock solutions, hopefully they'll wake up soon.Update July 2019: we bought two of these. One we stopped using very early on as it was too annoying to use on a daily basis. The second didn't require daily interaction, and despite regularly commenting to each other on how bad it was we used for a little over a year until it became even more difficult to use. Reduced review from two stars to one star. I expect even an outdoor lock to last significantly more than a year. Can not recommend at all.
