I have used IPEVO cameras since Covid hit, to teach online. The V4k PRO is the most compact and easy to set up camera and has all the features you need for teaching online, especially in a noisy room.If you do not mind plugging it in to your computer, this model is perfect. It is small, compact, takes "in focus " shots from 10 feet away easily when I am standing up at an easel and takes close up shots on the desk when I am demonstrating, or drawing up close. It is heavy enough to NOT to get vibration, but light enough to clip on a ladder, which I use for my home studio. And it is cheaper and better than the previous models. It works well for anyone without tech experience, for instance church services, and broadcasts live on zoom, and anyone can use it easily without training. It even has a very good light which shines on your writing, drawing, science experiment, or whatever you are trying to show or sell.Ipevo works seemlessly. Download and use the free Visualizer Ap on IPEVO website. The AP is very easy to figure out, and is constantly being upgraded to be user friendly; it works perfectly with Zoom. I can run the camera, zoom in and out, focus, and adjust all kinds of settings in the AP while I am teaching live. This is a solid product by a reputable, honorable company which believes in making innovative products teachers can buy themselves.If you are a tutor, or have meetings, you can do demonstrations with this without tech training. If you have to carry the camera, this one folds down easily too. (If you need a wi fi camera for walking around a wi fi classroom, get the big green VZX Ipevo,,,,but it is alot more expensive. The wi fi Ipevo is the green one in the photo on the desk) Ipevo also has a cheaper model without the fancy mic, that goes in your backpack, but the mic is a HUGE improvement. The v4Kpro one is perfect for most everyone and the camera and mic are fantastic.My first IPEVO camera saved my career when COVID hit, and I had to switch to online teaching overnight. I am loyal to this brand because they work. Frequently, the Visualizer month get's better and keeps up with other broadcasting, and also allows you to take photos from books, or make movies. The company is always ahead of the pack. My greatest thanks to IPEVO for creatively and unselfishly creating tools that teachers can afford to buy, and their unrelenting commitment to those of us that are 'boots on the ground' in education.

I have been using this overhead projector for the last 3 years in both my home and my classroom. I originally purchased it so I could teach at home during COVID protocols. I ended up using this, my desktop computer AND my cell phone while teaching, giving me multiple angles and possibilities while in Zoom sessions. I was even able to use the Ipevo as a camera to show kids at home the Smartboard while I lectured or student actions during labs when we were in hybrid learning (some kids in class, others still at home due to COVID). The camera is quite clear and easy to view for those who were at home.The Ipevo is terrific for its job and price. It is quite small and lightweight. I can easily toss it in my purse or my small briefcase that I use to carry papers and my laptop to and from school. I have used it several times a week, nonstop and can do nothing but rave about it. I far prefer it to the Elmos I have used to teach with as well as other brands.I use this almost entirely to do live casting of guided notes, manipulatives, diagrams, formulas, etc on my Smartboard in my high school classroom. I also use it on microscopes to show students what they should be looking for during labs (while teaching them about air bubbles, microscope technique, etc). I can use it as a secondary web cam for online teaching and I can use it for Zoom sessions as well.I love that you can rotate the head almost 250° allowing this left handed teacher to not have a large mounting arm constantly in the way (ahem, other screen caster companies take note!).Mild negatives:-You will need to download the Visualizer software, but be warned, it has a bit of a learning curve. Once you "get it", it's super easy to work with.-You will need a USB to USB-C adapter to use it on your Apple desktop.-I wish the cord that it comes with was about 30 cm longer, so it would be easier to use in labs.-For a really wide field of view, sometimes you will need to put the Ipevo on top of a mug or kleenex box. No biggie, but just be aware of that.

We bought one of these and it works great. Just bought a second one. So easy to use. Very durable. Used in a classroom everyday

Super, c’est ce que je recherchais, simple d'utilisation.Marche aussi bien sur Mac que Windows, impeccable pour mes élèves.

Ich gehörte damals zu den wenigen Glücklichen, die während des bereits angelaufenen Lockdowns und der damit verbundenen Homescooling-Phase in weiser Voraussicht rechtzeitig eine eigene Dokumentenkamera angeschafft hatten. Nach intensiver Recherche fiel meine Wahl schließlich auf die "Ziggy" von Ipevo. Technisch gutes Mittelfeld, kompakt, überschaubares Handling, vernünftiger Preis.Was soll ich sagen? Die "Ziggy" wurde zu meiner besten Freundin und treuesten Helferin. Sie lief auf Anhieb und trug Bild und Ton tagtäglich und über Stunden hinweg anstandslos in die Welt hinaus. Weder fertige Dokumente noch Live-Mitschriften bereiteten der so zierlich wirkenden Kamera Probleme.Fast drei Jahre später ist sie natürlich deutlich seltener im Einsatz, ihre teuren großen Schwestern in den Schulhäusern tun sich aber dennoch schwer gegen die Kleine. Klar, daran murksen jeden Tag zahlreiche Hände herum und das vergleichsweise filigrane Gestänge dieser Kamera hätte vermutlich keine Chance; leistungsmäßig braucht sie sich aber trotzdem nicht vor den teuren Marken verstecken. Für etwas mehr als 100 Euro bekommt man ein Gerät, das genau das tut, was in der Beschreibung steht. Und das ist doch mal echt eine Leistung!Klare Kaufempfehlung für alle, deren Dokumentenkamera einem eher kleinen Benutzerkreis mit etwas Feingefühl in den Händen ausgesetzt ist!
