capable dust collector for sure, lives up to bosch name
I have a ton of Bosch tools old new cord cordless. Sometimes i do not like their choices and sometimes they are outdone by competitors but not on this vac. I have dust collectors for saws, many shop vacs, and a previous dust extractors (a flex vce 33 which is a re brand of nilfix attix which milwaukee and several other big brands re brand too). That vac got flooded during helene, but it's my comparison and there's several lessons I've leaned between the smaller 6-9 gallon vac and this one1) This has a handle, i can't count the number of times i was tired of bending over to push my smaller extractor around and of course you and i know we don't do that and we'll instead drag an expensive extractor by the hose. Some like the flex, Milwaukee, etc have add on handles you can buy but that's yet another 100 + so add that when comparing to this one.2) capacity, 9 vs 14, some cheaper units also have traditional filters that protrude in the tank area (reducing stated capacity ). Bags for these are $ extra capacity = less bags. Downside to the 14 gallon though is it is a beast to load and unload but i love not bending over all day.3) filter location, i tire of the whole remove top, sit down on side remove filters clean filters, reverse...here open the filter door done.4) positive hose locks, it twist locks to the tank, and has a lock at the receiving end which i've come to like. No more unconsciously getting hose caught up and pulling the hose off the tool.5) tank is nice gauge plastic no cheapness about it.6) casters and caster frame are quality, rear wheels rubber (like i've not researched the exact material). which i like but i understand it could leave some marks on certain surfaces.7) Auto clean....comparison wise to my previous extractor this auto clean seems louder (though they are all loud), i like that you can disable it, HOWEVER you can't completely disable it. Disabling stops the auto clean every X seconds but once you power off the vac it gives the filter a good back pressure clean. This i understand why, but i wish disable meant disable , in quiet areas you may not want auto clean to behave like that, but given the capabilities of this machine and what it's meant for, that a minor thing.8) good long hose provided.9) lboxx storage up top can be done and it's great place to store all your vac stuff in an lboxx-110) the power broker i can see handy working in older home which I've done several times, i'm presently working on a place with a recalled zinser panel from the 50's i like to dial down power broker a bit there so as to not trust my luck with that old panel and it's breaker issues with high amperage draws for periods.11) these things are quiet, i have tinnitus i wear hearing for everything and every vac, i didn't need to with my previous vac nor this one (though the tool i'm operating my require it).So in summary, i like my choice, i was not fully prepared for loading and unloading the thing, didn't think of that much, but not having to bend over , and easily able to move the vac around for cleanup drywall sanding, etc i'd make the same choice over my old again. Being able to completely disable auto clean i miss a lot of times but i see why, and reality is when i'm doing stuff for that i typically don't need a hepa vac anyways so can use a regular vac.Update: i hooked this up to a https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DJSRM6GB?th=1 to level some humps in a slab for lvp...bruh....let me tell you it was dust free. I thought something was broke or i wasn't really grinding it was amazing. Kept my mask on but there was literally nothing visable escaping i could see and i've ground a good bit of concrete in a cloud of dust (with respirator) before.

This is a great vacuum
There's only one thing I don't like about vacuum hose: It's a bitch to find an off-the-shelf adapter to go between the end of the vacuum hose and the dust port on my Milwaukee 5" circular sander. I've had to monkey with several fittings to create a Frankenstein adapter that, while not perfect, does a fair enough job (it has a tendency to slip off when I reach the limit of the Bosch vacuum hose). You'd think Bosch would offer a hose attachment that would work between metric and standard hose ends, especially in the American market.Other than that, this vacuum is a workhorse and does an amazing job handling the fine dust of my sanding (down to 600 grit). It's far more thorough filtering the air than my stationary 6" cyclone vacuum system.Follow-up: I did discover that Bosch had the adapter I was looking for. It works great. So now I don't have any issues with vacuum or using it - period.

Love this
This is perfect for my garage workshop. Really helps with dust and clean up. It is super easy to use and very powerful. I wish I bought this years ago.

A portable dust extractor tough enough for grinding mortars prior to repointing.
We've used Bosch dust extractors since they appeared on the market. We use them extensively on Historic Masonry repair projects up and down the East Coast of the USA from Maine to Virginia. We've never had a problem with them, they're tough, reliable, and portable, essential when we're on a scaffold. The filters within the machine make us OSHA compliant wherever we go.

Not worth the price tag
The auto filter clean button doesn't work. Light home use on small projects. Had it for 7 months when it stopped working. I always use bags but have to listen to the auto clean. Will not hold up in a commercial use scenario.

Great vacuum buuuuut......
This vacuum is great, but there is an issue for me. The power tool hose adapter is nothing more than an annoying piece of garbage. It absolutely will not stay on the hose and pops off even at the slightest movement. It says it attaches through friction but that's a huge stretch of the imagination. We've had to resort to Zip taping it onto the hose in order to get it to stay, and even with that, the end that connects to the tools has a connection that's just as weak. I'd give this vacuum 15 stars if the hose adapter actually worked.

The best wet vacuum I've owned.
It's loud, annoying loud but works great. I have bought an trashed literally dozens of wet vacs, this is the best yet
