Cut my project time to 1/3 the length
This laser level has been a big time saver in installing a wall mounted squat rack in a garage. The floor was uneven so everything has to be leveled and measured at least twice, but with this laser level, it just cut the time substantially. It was very easy to use with 2 settings for locked or unlocked position. The locked position just keeps a straight line so that in can be used as a guide when aligning things such as pictures along a wall or stairway. The unlocked position is used so that it helps in levelling and keeping things plumb. The light flashes every few seconds to tell you which mode you are in on one of them so you know. Very easy to use straight out of the box and very accurate as well when lining up where studs are found during my project. Overall a great buy for the price compared to other more expensive ones that perform the same function.

Potential Accuracy Problem
A potential accuracy problem may have just surfaced. This was a mistake on my part but I just got around to checking the accuracy of this laser level. I placed the level 3 feet from a 5 foot wide wall and checked the level of the laser line. With the one end being the reference the other end of the beam was 1/8" (~3mm) low. That seems pretty significant with that narrow of a field of view. The unit was mounted on a tripod sitting on a stable tile floor and two different 4' levels were used to confirm the reference. My return window expired 3 days ago. Otherwise in just playing around the laser has worked fine other than chewing through a set of batteries a little quicker than I anticipated. I noticed the product page now states currently unavailable. Hmmm.Update 3/24/18-I continue to use this laser just keeping in mind that I have to work around the 1/8". I use it more now to line things up that do not require absolute precision. It works well enough to get things close and if needed I know what I need to do in order to gain that finesse back . It is still value priced and the green laser does help considerably. It goes through batteries quicker than I would like but I solved that with some rechargeables. The manufacturer has been very responsive to technical questions.

Best money spent ever on a tool for me
This little thing replaced so many other tools for me that I have to handily call it best money spent on a tool. What makes it best is really thick laser line with a really long reach, and that's too with a plumb (meaning, no matter the floor slope, the laser line will always be perfectly vertical) and top and bottom plumb points.Comes with an angle reflector and stand and magnets, so basically I can work at any angle and make perfect alignment every single time. I even use it for cutting wood, go figure.Used it for framing, door, window, flooring, furniture alignment, hanging artwork, and pretty much every place I need a vertical or horizontal line. Always worked perfectly. Battery life is decent too. High praise to manufacturer for thinking through all the use-cases.

Very handy, convenient, so many ways to mount it, and takes the guess-work out of leveling.
The Laser Level is rather amazing, and I've already used it for many projects. Its ability to lock and unlock has come in quiet handy. Unlock the balance to let it free-swing within the housing and it'll self-level so that you know the vertical line is always plumb and that the horizontal line is always flat and level. But if you just need a straight line and it needs to be at some other angle, lock the level and you can manually tilt the whole device so that it puts the straight line right where you need it.In one of my first projects with this great gadget I measured and hung up a bunch of my old cartridge video games, and the Cross Line Laser level made it very easy to keep it all straight and true. I've included some photos to show what I mean.I highly recommend this tool for anyone's tool-box, just remember that you have to lock it before it'll let you turn it off (a safety feature so it doesn't get damaged between uses).

The line seems fat.
I used this for the first time sistering in level floor joists and then installing flooring, straight with the adjacent hallway. The line is bright but it seems fat and diffused, it's not a crisp line. The fat line worked out great when installing the floor joists. I could place my spacer block on top of the new joist and have the line cut in half shining on both the block and the back wall, to make sure I had them all perfectly at the same level. It works. I'm just disappointed in the line.

Good cheap-ish laser level
I scrolled through a few laser levels and plunked down cash for this one. It's worked out pretty well for me. It shines a decent enough beam for indoors, even on a bright day. Helped me put up a set of shelving across an entire wall. So, job well done, i'm happy I got this.

Love this!
Something I never thought I would need, nothing a hand level, ruler, tape measure and a pencil can't do (along with several trips up and down a ladder). Was I ever wrong! This level was a game changer for me. Easy to set up and use, even though I was a bit intimidated at first. My first project was hanging three sets of 9' long curtains in a bay window type area. 3 different angles. Level worked perfectly! Have lots of projects where this will not only come in hand but be a real time saver. Glad I bought it!
