The main selling feature of this bed frame for me was the lift up storage. The metal frame is sturdy and easy to assemble. The storage area under the frame is absolutely wonderful and easy to access. On a side note, through no fault of the seller, the three headboard boards were received badly damaged. We decided to fabricate our own headboard using the broken boards as a template because we were in need of the bed frame and didn't want to have to wait for a new one. We also didn't think it was fair for the seller to have to cover the result of the shipping issue. The frame of the headboard is plenty sturdy enough for any kind of headboard we fabricate. This is definitely a 5-star bed frame.

Easy to assemble. Looks great. Seems sturdy. Makes under bed storage easy to get to.

This bed frame arrived in a huge box that was extremely heavy. I had to take the pieces out of the box and shlep them upstairs in small batches.The delivery service apparently dropped the box at some point and put a gouge in one of the side panels. This was probably due to its weight and awkward size. I don’t mind the gouge as it isn’t noticeable once the bed is made.This is one of the most challenging DIY furniture pieces I’ve ever had to put together. The instructions are pretty easy to follow but this bed frame requires a lot of tedious steps to finally get together. There are dozens of bolts and screws of different sizes to keep track of and the tools they provide are subpar so you should have your own better tools available to make things go more smoothly. You’ll definitely want someone to help you put it together as well.Overall, I’m happy with it and it doesn’t shake or squeak one bit. It’s a bit lower on the floor than I would like but that’s the trade off to not having to deal with a box spring. My current mattress actually feels a bit better on the new, more solid bed frame.

It did take about 2 hours to put together, but I was using power tools and drinking beer. So maybe one step forward one step backward there. The 13mm spanner they gave for the hex bolts was thin and horrrible to wrench with because the threads are nylocked and put up some resistance. Use your own tool and save your hands the pain.All that said, the bed frame is awesome, the wood is sturdy/pretty, the parts fit together no problem and the hydraulic lift shocks are strong enough to lift the mattress I also bought from amazon (EIUE Medium firm, great bed for my wonky back)

This storage under the bed is awesome. We bought this bed for our bed at our cabin. It was easy to put together. Comfortable even without a box spring. . Lots of space to store items. Yet easy access to get to it. Great place to store xtra blankets and pillows. It’s well made. I would highly recommend this bed.

Increased our storage space significantly , sturdy, ease of assembly, pieces all fit perfectly, upscale rustic chic look…unfortunately arrived damaged …:BUT Happy Tao responded within 24 hours and dealt with problem expeditiously…great value, solid lifters, we love bed and customer service!

For the price, this frame is nearly unbeatable for the features it provides.Our home has limited closet space so being able to utilize the space under our bed has helped massively.Pro:- Looks great- Sturdy, we have a heavy mattress and with 2 people and 2 large dogs it doesn't move a millimeter- the shelf and power adapter at the head of the bed are super convenient and work well- the bed hydraulics function well and are easy to use.Cons:- It takes a decent amount of time to assemble, took me about 2 hours but I was also watching football so the average person could likely do it in around 90 minutes- a lot of space is needed for assembly as you have to lower the frame into the 'shell'- to properly utilize the hydraulic lift, so it stays open you need to pull the pillows and comforter off. this is likely due to the weight of our mattress, ours is 18" thick so regular ones should be just fine.Overall we love this bed frame and recommended it to two of our friends!

I like the style. Wasn’t too hard to put together. Have to be careful because it will scratch easy being plywood, is hard to open, but nice to be able to store things under the bed.
