I use my computer mostly for work in my music studio and when traveling to other studios. I don't do any programing or writing of any sort, so keyboard usage is fairly light. Unfortunately, keyboards over the last 5 years seem to have a life expectancy of a few years or less before they start getting glitchy.This keyboard is comfortable, easy on the wrist. No delay on the action. The mouse is a little larger than previous ones I have used, but I was able to adapt to it. Again, I don't use it for programing or inputing large amounts of data, so the mouse is no problem.So far I'm satisfied with the performance. I'm hoping this one makes it past the one year mark before it starts glitching. If not, I'll be editing the overall rating and revise the review.

This is a solid product. I very much like the keyboard feel and the mouse has an excellent ergonomic design. I did find the sleep function of the mouse annoying at first, but it does save the battery.

I do like this keyboard. The multimedia keys are exactly what I need in a keyboard, especially the calculator button. I like the soft touch keys and I can type a lot easier and faster with this keyboard. But the downside is the lack of a power switch! Like so many other people these days, I work from home. Working from home equals hazards an office worker won't face, like cats! The best of my last keyboard was the power switch because as soon as would set the keyboard down I would shut it off. That way if a cat's butt somehow happens to sit on the keyboard then everything is good. With the keyboard, no power switch equals disaster! I literally set the keyboard down for 5 seconds to write something in my notebook and guess what? Cat butt! Whatever he sat on disabled the whole keyboard driver. Took over an hour to fix that, then another hour researching other keyboards to replace this one but finding nothing that is comparable with everything I want. Then another hour searching for a way to turn off the keyboard. I finally found a small program that I was able to download that disables the keyboard which can be re-enabled with a combination of keys. So, I'm happy with the keyboard now. But hey, I'm a responsible adult... I can be trusted with a power switch. How difficult can it be to have it included?

I loved my previous keyboard, but it was just way too loud when I was typing, especially when the house was particularly quiet like at night. I do a lot of writing and typing, so the issue of sound is a significant one for me. This keyboard solved that quite well and even threw in a few extras I wasn't fussy about but found myself immediately falling in love with like the built-in palm rest. Yes, it does take up a couple extra inches as a result, but I am absolutely fine with that. Even more so because it is truly integrated and part of the keyboard itself, not just an add-on piece that clips into place like some others I've had. The mouse is comfortable and works well enough for my needs. I do really like that it allows me to set the DPI I am most comfortable with so quickly and easily. Both require batteries, but they have an automatic off feature that works very well to conserve battery power and it's honestly easier for me to just replace batteries than to deal with more things that require recharging. Of course I'm also in my fifties, so changing batteries has been a part of my life for a very long time and something that just honestly doesn't phase me in the slightest. Anyway, back to the keyboard. The keys are very well shaped with a bit of a cup that fits the fingers perfectly and allows for very fast, accurate touch typing, something I often find difficult if not impossible on the smooth, flat style keyboards that seem to be so popular these days. This one is definitely designed with a true touch typist in mind and that makes a big difference in both speed and accuracy. I highly recommend this set, though I think it should be pretty clear from my review that it is mostly the keyboard I am in love with. Still, the mouse works well when I do need to use it, which really isn't that much, and since they share a single dongle I only lose one USB port to cover both devices. I highly recommend this set, especially for a touch typist that wants a reasonably quiet keyboard.
