I really like this little lighter. It's compact, and it's easy to slip in my pocket and take it wherever I go. It includes a plasma lighter, a flashlight, and a compass all in a very small and Sleek package. I really like the fact that it's rechargeable, so I don't have to mess with replaceable batteries or worry about refilling it with lighter fluid. The lighter itself works well, and the plasma Arc will easily light just about anything that you touch it to. The flashlight is relatively bright, and it's just an added bonus feature that adds to the value of this lighter. I'm not sure about the accuracy or usefulness of the compass, but it's there and it doesn't take up any additional space... So it can't hurt to have it there in case of an emergency, right?The battery life is good, this is not something that I've used for an extended period of time... But I charged it up and it's worked fine over time that I've used it since. I suppose if you were using it constantly, or running the flashlight, the batteries may run down after a while... But for me one charge has lasted several weeks.I think it's a good day for the price, and I would buy it again. It's convenient and it works well.

Easy stocking stuffers for our adult sons

I don't smoke, but used to carry a lighter in my purse as a "survival" tool in case my car broke down somewhere. I used it a lot! Couldn't believe how many times it came in handy. I used it enough that it ran out of fuel. When I saw this I couldn't resist, no fuel needed (ok, I do need to plug it on occasion), it has a compass (which is accurate, I checked), and a flashlight with bright, brighter, and annoying strobe, which is annoying only until you need it. My request of all flashlight makers is to make it so we can pick which light function we want to turn on as opposed to clicking our way through them). The nice orange color makes it easier to find in my purse, that's a plus. Let's see, what else does it do? Oh, yeah, it makes all the menfolk in the room drool over it when you open it for Christmas :-) I guess I should have bought more than the one for me, guess that's what you get you're the one doing the stocking stuffer shopping!

So far I have been been pleased with this product. It arrived with a great charge and seems durable enough. I immediately tested the electric lighter on a candle and it worked without any issue. The flashlight also works well. The compass seems flimsy and slightly off, but for my needs it isn’t a major issue. It charges via usb, and while I do find that convenient I would prefer if it could also be charged via a regular battery. Regardless, it is still a handy gadget and I enjoy using it.
