Initial impressions.
I have only been able to use this unit for a couple of days so far but I wanted to go ahead with an initial impression which I will update after a few weeks have passed.I am impressed by the small size of this unit and the sound quality most of all.I am using it as a USB player so I have not yet tried the other modes but it does work quite well to play my sleep music overnight. My cats love it too. I can bring it to other rooms and play music for them. Very soothing. they listen to music a lot. I did have it connected to power overnight so I was surprised to find when I moved it to my computer desk the battery was nearly dead. I plugged it in without playing and it did charge. I figured it would be like my phone, it could charge at the same time it was in use.

Inexpsive little radio/mp3 player/ speaker
I have had this for about 2 month's I use it every day, and it has been working great. I had a Bose Sound Mini Link, and while that speaker was a excellent source, it did not have a radio built in, it didn't have the ability to have a USB SD memory stick, or a Micro SD card inserted into it.The buttons on top allow you to play track 1-10,000 etc so if you know that favorite song is 1776 you can enter it onto the keypad and it will play, there is a fast forward and a reverse, volume up/down. I have it mounted via some velcro tape to my bicycle right in the middle of the handle bars, it survives the small bumps, and light offroad, it I mounted it to my mountain bike I would need a more secure mount. The sound can be heard about 30 feet away while on the road with cars, at volume 18, at full volume you cannot hear any trucks or cars if you're playing hard thumping music. As for a great little unit that plays well, sounds well, and costs less than $40.00 usd, and has all the features it has, it's pretty hard to find a better unit.I chose the Pink one, for higher visibility while I use it for my daily rides, and I expected it to be Hot Pink, not really pink though, I would call it Copper Pink, kind of like fresh copper after it has been sanded. The color is quite pleasant and since it's a lighter color it will survive outside in the heat, I've only had it shut down once from when it was 110 and in full sun, and I was standing still at a light. A few minutes in the shade for both myself and the unit and it turned back on.I get around 10 hour's playback at half volume, which is plenty for a unit that is closer to you, than a job site radio would be, I have gotten the rated 12 hours when the volume down to 10, and about 6 hours at full volume.I play all genres of music, rock, jazz, hard rock, reggae, classical, some rap, it does okay for heavy bass, yet this is a small all in one unit, and it won't throw the bass into your chest like real stereo will, yet for a travel mp3 speaker that's a little smaller than a normal size bicycle water bottle is, does really. It's synced perfectly with every smart phone or blue tooth device I have tried, and the radio works fine, in my area I only get one radio station, however once I go to work in the city I get all of them, however I didn't buy this for the radio, however it's nice to have the option to play the radio esp if mixed company is around.Overall this unit has far exceeded my expectations in every way, about the only thing that be improved upon would to add some Bose Speakers to this unit and it would Rock the Block. Yet at 1/8th the price this comes pretty close to the Bose, and beats the Bose for it has a built in mp3 player, radio, and accepts a memory stick, and can use ear phone jack if needed. Not sure if Antimi is a name brand or if it's just a random made up Chinese name, however both the units I bought sound identical. Whether they are around when both of my units die in a few years is yet to be known. How ever by then we might not be around if the Billionaires/Technocrats get their wish....

Fit very specific needs for an older adult facing challenges
My father used to love music, but has suffered hearing and memory loss, and really struggles with technology. The majority of BT speakers need to be controlled by another device, but with this one I can save various music genres to labeled thumb drives and all he has to to is plug one into the input. Having a thumb drive inserted overrides other modes, so he doesn't have to worry about setting it to the right mode to play music from a thumb drive. (For those not challenged, changing the mode is easy, more on that in a moment.) The other big plus is the radio can be tuned directly to a station via the number pad, and the station's number shows on a small display so you can tell what station you're on. Most BT speakers don't have radios and those that do require you to button push, button push as you search through the spectrum, and then don't indicate what station you're on. Fairly useless. So that feature was a very nice plus on this speaker. So Pros:The sound is pretty good for a small BT speaker.Battery life is good and there is a battery indicator on top.As mentioned, you can plug and play from a thumb drive.Radio (FM only) allows you to tune directly to a stationRadio station displays.Cons:The buttons are pretty spongy and slow to react. For example, you have to hold the power button for a second or two to power up or off. This isn't a problem for many but can be confusing for someone who is used to instant on/off.Ditto the mode button. The button push to change modes isn't crisp, in fact I returned one of these thinking the buttons weren't adequately functional and then realized no, that's just how it is.Voice: I believe this is made in Japan and while things like "bluetooth" are said in English, it is so heavily accented it is very difficult to understand. Enough so as to make the voice statements useless to my father. What could be improved/what I wish was out there: This is written from the point of view of someone who was purchasing this to provide music/stimulus for an older adult. I am not listing these as a negative of this particular speaker - this one is what it is, and aside from the cons listed above, it was the ONLY one that came close to being usable by my father. I just think there must be millions out there like him, and I would be willing to pay far more for a speaker that had improved attibutes over this one. So if the manufacturer is reading:Display: While I appreciate the rarity of the FM display, in a perfect world, it would be nice if there was a speaker that had a control display to show not only what FM station you're on, but what was on the thumb drive. It would be great if you could view, scroll through, and select songs on the drive so you could hear the album or song you wanted. And offered a shuffle play option.I would also make it with easy to read, high contrast, labeled buttons. "Mode" instead of "M." Label pause, have skip and fast forward be on separate, labeled buttons. Crisp reaction buttons. For example, fast forward, sure, needs to be held down. But most should be easy, crisper to use, with some sort of tactile response such as a slight click to on/off, changing mode, etc.I'd label everything, which is what I did with stick on labels - where to plug in the charger, for example, and on the charge cord itself, which way faces up.I'd have a pdf available for download, with step-by-step pictures and directions. I made this for my father.Last, I'd be willing to pay more for a speaker with fantastic sound. Although I guess size may be the limitation there, and this one is a good size. Many older folks are in situations where space in their room is limited... so not a huge boom box, but something slightly bigger to accommodate a display and maybe better sound would be ok.Summary: If you're looking to bring music back into the life of an older adult, this may be the speaker for you. And music is wonderful for everyone, perhaps especially those with memory issues. It can of course also be used by anyone else who is less challenged and wants to use it as a regular BT speaker controlled from their phone or tablet. The price was excellent, the size good, sound is decent, battery life very good. And most of all, it's the only one out there like it that I could find.

Very good
Use this device to play music in a work men's room. It plays mp3 files from a microSD card, has good volume, and has run from many hours with no problems. It seems perfect for this purpose.
