Liked the festive feel and contemporary style of these plates. Also besides canapés, useful for luncheons and desserts. Very versatile! And all of my Spode collection are extremely durable and I have had many of them for over 30 years.

Used these for salad plates along with white square dinnerware. Perfect touch to dress up our Christmas we dinner.!

Each of the four 7 inch square plates in this group has a border that features one of four tartan patterns with the unifying element being the iconic Spode Christmas Tree design in the center of each plate. A versatile group they work as an accent plate in a place setting or may be used alone for appetizers, dessert, sandwiches, etc. Microwave and dishwasher safe they are well-finished and have a handsome distinctive appearance. Excellent.

I bought these to use as Christmas gifts. Each plate is the perfect size for a few cookies or other treat. Everyone I gave one to commented on how much they liked the plate.

They have these canape plates at the store near me but that required me to leave home. No ! I'm happy to say I was able to find this cute set of Spode dishes here instead and save some gas while achieving my holiday decorating goals.We wanted something that would compliment the color scheme of our dining decor while still providing the expected functionality of our less festive china and we're pretty familiar with this brand. I like that the design on this set matches a lot of our heirloom holiday decorations and I think they'll make a great addition to a kind of timeless collection of Christmas items. My family likes that they are dishwasher, freezer (wow), and microwave safe.Since I've got the plates now, I get I need to go ahead and complete the collection now 😌

These Spode Christmas plates are a true gem! Each dish is well crafted by the high quality ceramic material and the painted design. These dishes are small but weighty and strong, perfect for smaller amounts of cookies, candies, fudge, and other Christmas goodies you can place on them. Each plate is individually designed and unique, giving your table a festive look!Honestly, we loved these dish plates and couldn't find one thing wrong with them. I hope these will stay in our family for many generations. 5 out of 5 stars, highly recommend!

Spode moved most of its manufacturing to the Far East a number of years ago. Nevertheless, one would be mistaken in thinking these plates are inferior in any way to traditional Spode china. The Spode "Christmas Tree" motif is nicely recreated in the center of each plate and is surrounded by four different plaids done in rich, though somewhat dark, colors. The glazing is flawless and ultra-glasslike. These are perfect for canapes ... or a can of peas, since they are microwave (and freezer and dishwasher) safe. The box they arrive in is sturdy and attractive. If you're wondering what the "character" at the right of the tree top is, it's mistletoe. And you will deserve a kiss after gifting these gorgeous and festive plates to someone on your Christmas list!

Spode has been a tradition in our family since the 80s and I was thrilled to see this set of smaller square plates at such an incredible price!Each plate has its own unique border while still maintaining the signature Spode Christmas tree in the center.These are perfect for holding a slice of pie at dessert time or as we have done, placing around the dining room and living room with individually wrapped treats on top.Exquisite high end "earthenware material" now made in China unlike the original set I have from 80s made in England. But not any less gorgeous.This is exactly what you still expect from Spode. High shine glaze, sturdy plate, dishwasher safe but I still hand wash these.If you are a collector of Spode or just an admirer, these will do just perfectly for you.
