Good quality but a tad too narrow for my Oxford chain

Three hour slog to fit to a Mammoth 12mm chain. Extremely tight fit using a sender rope. The problem is the sheath galls in on itself and jams, resulting in the need to cut to free the sheath. As a result, exposed chain ends but it’s doing the job to stop scratches. Melted the ends to stop fraying as not stitched and secured with a couple of tie wraps. Time cost wise would have been more effective to buy a new chain.

This is a great cover for bike chain but did take a while to get it in. Best with two people

This cover replacement was great for my security chain I use for motorcycle and look smart and will do the job like the old cover did .Will need small rope to pall the chain in to the cover and small ziptied for the ends .

My old chain cover was shredded so bought this to replace it , bit fiddly getting the chain through but worth it very good

Fitted my 12mm abus chain very snugly and took about 45 minutes to an hour to fully install. The material feels pretty good and if you cut it down I would recommend burning the edges to avoid fraying, however as for durability only time will tell.

If you're going to clean and spray your chain with ptfe or similar, before you put this cover on, make sure you let it fully dry. I didn't and ended up removing half the white printing by the time I was done. Our chains are quite big and I reckon it took meabout half an hour to work each one through its new cover, but very nice and secure and looks smart on the bike.

A bit painful putting it on but its a great product.
