Product description ------------------- Smart Beauty semi-permanent hair colour crème has been specially developed to be safe and easy to use in the comfort of your own home, whether you are refreshing an existing look or creating a whole new style statement. Semi-permanent hair colours work by sticking to the outer surface of the hair. If the hair is virgin (ie; has had no s) the surface with be smooth and the colour will not grip. This is normal with roots and younger people’s hair. To overcome this issue, apply a little heat during the process time and leave it longer to develop. The use of shampoos is also important, the hair has to be squeaky clean before you apply colour; use a clarifying shampoo or a bit of washing-up liquid which will remove all residue of hair products. DO NOT use conditioners or styling products as the colour will grip to these rather than the hair. After you have applied the colour, just rinse your hair until water runs clear. You must not use shampoo or conditioner because they will start to remove the colour. Conditioner is already in the product. For best longevity use a leave-on serum. Be aware that the hair colour can rub off on bedsheets and clothes (if not rinsed enough) so protect them. As all hair colours use s it’s important that you treat them with respect.
