Works out of the box
Have been thinking about a robovac for a while but hesitated until the functionality and performance looked decent. I reckoned I would buy a mid-range in the £200-300 region and then replace in a few years time rather than buy a super-expensive one now which would only become outdated.I’m very pleased with this. Connection to WiFi actually worked first time around. I don’t think I’ve ever had a device do that before! The app works well and the user interface is very intuitive. Mapping of the rooms works well. Charging seems quite fast. Everything about the device just seems well put together, and for once great synergy between hardware and software. On the cleaning side it picked up a lot of dust and dirt which my old robovac left behind just 2 days ago. Yes it struggled a bit with trailing cables on the floor but it was pretty easy to tidy these up. The only other issue I experienced was a small step up about 2.5cm high between two rooms which it couldn’t climb up. I’ve had to mark that as a no-go zone to avoid the problem in future.I won’t use the mopping feature much, so less bothered about that now. Also it takes 10 seconds to empty the bin manually, so I’m pleased I didn’t spend more on a fancy dock with a bin. This robovac is in a really great sweet spot for price vs usefulness. Very much recommended.

Glad to have taken the plunge
This is our first Robot Vacuum and I must say I'm very impressed. We have wanted one for a while, but I always assumed they just wouldn't do a good job, and thought spending between £200 and £300 would get me something that was almost useless. We let it do a full clean after the initial mapping, and I was surprised at how thorough the clean was and how much dust/hair it collected (this is coming from a Dyson Small Ball Allergy only a year old). The mopping isn't great, but I didn't expect it to be for this price point, the vacuuming part is amazing. So glad we took the plunge!

Bad customer support and after sales.
Beware aftercare service. Great machine and delivery. Horrific experience trying to arrange a repair.I will be reviewing other purchasing options before buying in future as after sales service is not important to this business, in my opinion.

Friendly enough
'Max' has acquainted himself with the house layout and has been performing his duties adequately getting on with his work without complaint. His avoidance to obstacles is a step up from the previous incumbent 'Bertie' (different make) who served us well but sadly became ill, we remain hopeful of his recovery so that the two can play together.

Very impressive, huge upgrade on our old roomba
Our 6 year old Roomba 600 series was failing to start so saw this as a possible bargain, knowing if it didn't work out I could always return it to Amazon.Well, after a week there's no chance of that. I did rather oddly schedule itself for a scanning mission at 7am the day after I set it up, but it wasn't a problem as after that it had the whole house mapped out and all I needed to do was define room names. Compared to the roomba it replaced, it's far quieter, uses adaptive power on different surfaces and is just such a massive improvement in terms of obstacle detection - the roomba frequently got stuck under sofas and tables.Overall really pleased, and it was also a lot cheaper than the roomba.

Don’t buy
Don’t buy it, the old one I had was miles better. It leaves more than it collects
