TACO Marine GS-2801 Grand Slam 2801 Mount with 30° Offset Handle for 1-1/2" Outrigger

The outriggers they shipped us were defective out of the box. They look new but the entire center is loose and wobbles badly. It seems they may be shipping Amazon customers their defective or out of tolerance parts. The poles move 3ft side to side and 3ft up and down when hey are locked in!! I’ve never seen such poor manufacturing and complete lack by the company to remedy the defect of such an expensive product. Since we installed them after the prime return period we are stuck with them (according to Taco) so we turned to the warranty to get a replacement.We talked to the tech multiple times, sent in a video and they agreed it was not right but said it was an “anomaly” and would need to be shipped back to them (our cost). In the mean time we will have two large holes in the T-top and they won’t give us any idea of how long it will take to fix or if it’s something that they can fix. The Base they sent us is junk, buyer beware!
