After a lot of research, I chose this 10KW inverter/charge controller for my first solar system and I'm very happy that I did. It has been running flawlessly for 4 months now.I am very happy with this sungold 10K inverter very easy to install user friendly i would recommend this inverter to any one.

Installed 2 of these in split phase and run my whole house and garage flawlessly

In short, the AC in/out terminals are not designed to accommodate AWG 6 wires (as required for ~50A power, per the manual). I tried everything—clampers, ferrules, lugs—but nothing worked with the default terminals. I eventually managed to connect it. It’s currently working with batteries and the kitchen outlet breaker, and seems to be working fine.Aside from that, it’s an okay inverter.

I was happy to receive this item and had no issues installing it. One of the first things I ran in am issue with was the SOC not reporting or displaying correctly. After having it for a little over month it stopped charging. I attempted to contact tech support twice once for the soc and once for the charging. No help was available and the only response I received from the company was to change the battery voltage to correct the soc. When I asked where do I do that at which setting. Which btw was my first question and when I got that answer I told them apparently you don't know your product. I am still waiting for a reply. I called the company when it stopped charging my batteries and am still waiting on a call back. I contacted Amazon and they authorized a return of the item with a refund of the purchase price minus $400. I will be contacting Amazon again to find out why and will update this review. All I can say is if you choose to purchase this item that you have better luck then I did. I really don't like to write reviews that are negative but I was left with no other choices. Contacted Amazon customer service and found out they are charging me a $370 restocking fee on an item that stopped working. So I paid $1690 + $160.78 tax = $1850 and because the item stop working i am only getting a refund for $1480.78. So you make your choice before purchasing this item. You have been warned!

After a lot of research, I chose this 10KW inverter/charge controller for my first solar system and I'm very happy that I did. It has been running flawlessly for 5 months now. Currently I have 3.6KW PV array on 1 of the 2 PV channels and 21 KWHrs of LIFEPO4 battery capacity. The output of inverter is wired to my home panel via multiple single circuit transfer switches. I'm a retired controls engineer with a small business at home so this type system works great for me. I can selectively power any circuit in my home except a 13KW tankless water heater. I installed the system primarily for grid down backup but I've used it so far to shave around 75% off my electric bill. Had a minor issue during during startup and contacted Sungold. They responded promptly but I had already found problem was insufficient battery for a large inverter and corrected. Sunny also contacted me recently to follow up on problem. I highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. Very happy with it running all my appliances and devices, had some difficulties at first, contacted their technicians and all issues were resolved

Working great so far

Received and installed my inverter as an off grid solution to power my pool equipment. System uses PV, Battery and Mains thru a transfer switch. Install and Configuring was straight forward, and Inverter communicated with my battery (RuiXu 48/16Kw) just fine. System is working and switching between power sources as expected using setting 01 at SOL and Battery Charge at CSO. I did initially have an issue with battery not charging at full 60A capability and some settings stuck, but after a factory reset everything works as expected. Support for my issue was prompt ( chat immediately and followup email the next day) so no complaints there.
