Does this product fit the Aeropress Go?

Yes it fits fine for making a great cup of coffee! However, your GO kit will no longer fit inside the red cover as originally designed because this cap is slightly larger than the original part.

Is this the same thing as the Fellow Prismo?

1) The AeroPress FCFC fits on both our Original and Go AeroPress. It was found that the Fellow's did not fit the Go. 2) The AeroPress FCFC uses either the Micro Paper Filter or the Metal Filter, Fellows only uses their included metal filter. 3) The AeroPress FCFC is Made In The USA!

Does this replace original bottom piece? My dad got an aeropress for me, but could not figure out how to use it because the bottom piece missing

No, the AeroPress Flow Control Filter Cap does not replace the filter cap. Please our visit aeropress.com and fill out the Product Submit Form with your complete mailing address and we will get a replacement filter cap out.

How much pressure does it allow to build up before it opens?

It doesn't actually hold pressure. It keeps the water from dripping when inverted.
