I love this set because it is high quality and very sharp. I have used about 6 of them from large to small. There is no color chipping off and no warping. They are very sharp that the drilling is very easy and fast. The box it comes in is very sturdy and well designed to keep each piece together in the set.

Had the sizes I needed and the price point was good.

I have many DuraTech tools. These Titanium drill bits are good, general-purpose tools just like all the DuraTech products I have. The case for these drill bits is durable and easy to open, but the embossed black-on-black labelling of bit sizes inside the case is difficult to read (see photos). As with most of the competitors, they are using a case design in which the racks do not pivot/tip out to make removing and reinserting the bits easy. This used to be a common feature of drill bit cases that I miss (see photo of my old Ryobi drill bit case). Bottom line: these DuraTech drill bits are comparable in price and quality to most other 20-piece Titanium Nitride (TiN) coated drill bits on the market (e.g., Dewalt, Ryobi, Kobalt, Bosch). There’s really not a lot of differentiation in this type of product and so it’s hard to get excited about any of them. You will not regret buying these DuraTech bits, as they can certainly do the job, but they’re not noticeably better than the offerings from the other name-brands.

Exactly as advertised, and a great value!

I was in need of a new set of drill bits as over the years, my sets have gone missing or have been broken. I don't need them often but I hate having to scour the garage for my bits. These come in a nice, durable case and each bit is labeled - removing a few small steps for a project goes a long way. Each bit looks like it is of good quality and they do the job on either my hand drill or my table borer for smaller projects. I got to put them through a good stress test when I wanted to build a simple step table for some potted plants in our yard and it had no problems with sheet metal or 2x4 wood. There was no wobbling and no issues with switching the bits in and out of the drills.

What’s important in a drill set? One of the most important things for me is that it comes packaged in a case that allows me to store the drill bits and keep them handy. This set from Duratech and sold by Kaya Depot does just that.Of course, you want the drill bits to cut well, and so far as I can tell these do that very well. I’ve only used them in framing wood so far, but they just melt into the wood and pull cleanly out again. The range of drill bit size is impressive. They come in a 1/16” size up to ½”, 21 bits in all. I like how the case allows you to store and access them and to put them back in the right location (each location is marked with the drill bit size – only by raised numbers on the plastic, but easily seen nevertheless).I’m very pleased with this drill set and it will replace another set I have which (unfortunately) has somehow lost a number of its drill bits. I’ll try to be more careful this time!
