I had one of the first generation Lenovo laptops to have a fingerprint reader and it worked around 10% of the time. The fingerprint reader on this lock, I'm happy to report, works 90% of the time on the first try and 100% of the time with two tries. i bought this lock because the contacts I wear to the gym make me farsighted and if someone spins the dials on my cheap combination lock while I'm performing herculean feats of strength on the gym floor, I have to remove my contacts to open it. Fortunately this only happened once but it was sort of memorable as there was an amateur policeman in the locker room who watched suspiciously until I opened it. Anyway, I don't expect to have that problem again. This lock is also solidly built and foreboding looking. The app is easy to use and gives you the ability to share the lock with mutliple fingerprint owners/users.

Great for gym locker or any place to put a lock. My eyesight has been degrading over the years. Without my glasses I can't see numbers on a combination lock and if you're just off you have to repeat, and it can be frustrating. This lock works by your cell and fingerprint. Easy to use and charge last a long time. I use for the gym and only have to charge every 3M if I do!

App for it doesn’t work great but lock works good and does the job!

This is not going to keep out a hacker or someone with a small hammer. This is to keep honest people honest. I'm using it to keep a cart locked in a work environment.Pretty impressed with the app and the fingerprint reader. Battery life, so far is phenomenal and the ease of use with app or finger just make life that much better. I will probably get another one for Gym use. Even though gyms are notorious for break - in's, my wallet or phone is never in the locker and I have never had any worries with a basic lock. "If someone wants something you have, a lock isn't going to stop them." So, again, this isn't a beefy high security lock. It is more a medium/light security lock that excels at convenience. %100 match for me.

Was working fine but one fine day wouldn't unlock anymore. Thank god I had already taken it off from the door. Otherwise would have had to cut it open.

This thumb print lock is hella sick wit it. I always use this at the gym because it it has pretty good security and the ease of using your thumb print. Damn tho, this baby is a little pricey but around the same compared to other thumb print locks. Overall, I give this a 5/5. Also the battery has yet to die on me and I’ve had it over like 3-4 months now.

This is my second one. Great easy to use app, I put like 3 sets of fingerprints per lock, pretty sure you can add more. Reads fingers relatively quickly and accurately as saved.I put then together and shock pulled hard.. and didn't break open, so seems good. They're on my gun case now.Battery so far one one charge 1 month going strong.It's a big pricey, but more trustable than the cheapy ones on here, worth it.

I've tried a few of these over the years and had to return them, because very simply the fingerprint recognition was hinky. This one seems to work every single time (unless I turn my finger the wrong way). I use it in the gym, to lock up my stuff, so I don't have to carry a key or try to read the combination numbers with my 58 year old eyes that have trouble in the darkened areas of the gym.

Product works as advertised, sturdy design and battery life is impressive. Battery level has not dropped after 3 weeks.
