I ordered this after reading the reviews and made sure I bought one with the smaller lid on it. It us great for the bathroom. My dog was getting in the trash in the bathroom so this works wonderful because it makes a noise for a few seconds which is exactly what I needed. It is great and I am extremely pleased. Just buy this with the smaller lid as the larger lid will break sooner instead of later due to the weight.

As we age, we recognize the value of automation. This product is the future—it's touchless and transforms the entire powder room into a modern oasis. I purchased one for my sister because, while her bathroom was nearly perfect, it needed a trash bin upgrade. This addition has dramatically enhanced the space, making it sleek and contemporary.

Finding the right trash can for the bath was a challenge. The step on cans didn't work right because they usually tipped over. This is the perfect bath solution. It fits neatly between my vanity and the wall and the hands-free opening is great. We purchased the 'large lid' version and it has ample space to toss trash. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Working well so far. Although I wish they’d include one set of batteries and also indicate the battery size. Will update later as time goes on.

Great waste basket for bathroom to decrease odor.

Loved it so much I bought another for our other bathroom. Motion sensored and keeps the cat and dog out of the trash! Plus it's slim so fits next to the toilet.

We had a small lid for 18 months until it just stopped working that was not a bad price for that length of time. This time we saw the larger opening large lid but it has major design flaws that caused it to fail in first 45 days.1. Lid is too large for the same size motor as the small and stripped out2. Lid goes over the sensor so if you are not fast the lid would bump your hand when openingThere was absolutely no reason the lid had to be the size of the entire can that it went over the sensor. If you guesstimated the hand waving over sensor it would bump your hand opening up. The lid should of stopped before the sensor like the small lid version and it would of been much lighter for the small electric motor and not bumped your hand opening it up.Avoid the large lid as it will not last it has a poor design.

I ordered two of these automated JOYBOS trash cans. The sensor on one did not seem to be working quite right. I received a replacement within 24 hours. They work great, look nice in the bathrooms, and should deter the dog from getting in the garbage.

The media could not be loaded. Tengo poco más de un mes que lo adquirí, en diseño es bonito y tiene buen tamaño, sin embargo has e unos 10 días o poco más se descompuso, simplemente la tapa ya no levantó a la primera, pase la mano por el sensor y vibra como si estuviera atorado, al parecer se safo o rompió un engrane de la tapa qué hace la función de subir y bajar.La tapa abrió y cerró pero cerró chueca o movida y de ahí ya no sube más, el sensor pre de pero no cumple la función de abrir ya que hay algo que se lo impide, posiblemente la pieza safada o rita que comentó.Escribí al proveedor para ver si había garantía o algo ya que tiene muy poco tiempo la compra (eso fue hace una semana) y simplemente no respondió.La compra simplemente será a la basura por que si no cumple función de abrir y cerrar no tiene caso.Espero que me deje subirles un video, lo intente hace rato pero no lo carga.

Hice la compra el día 30 de mayo 2023 y hasta el día de hoy nunca a fallado. Llego bien empaquetado y el envío fue rápido.

I am a bit fan of this trash can. The sensor is excellent - just sing your hand over the top and it opens for you - and there is a blue light that visually shows you the countdown before the lid closes automatically. If you want it to stay open longer, just put your hand over the top again.The can is large enough for a usual bag (I use a small compostable bag, but you can use a normal shopping bag). Once you put the bag in, there is a suction that occurs automatically when you put the top back on which ensures the bag fits without any concern for it falling out of place (a huge bonus) in case you're rage-shoving garbage in there.It's battery operated. I've been on the same battery for about 8 months and it's still working just like day-one. Would recommend !

The media could not be loaded. I never thought I would so happy with a trashcan but this one is fabulous. I use this in the bathroom and it is so nice to not have to touch the lid and it’s the perfect size for the bathroom. I simply wave my hands over the sensor and the lid opens and I can drop whatever I need to in. The sensor can sense the wave from a decent distance so if I’m cleaning at the sink I can wave my hand about 4 feet above the sensor and it still works. It took a little of fiddling to find the best location where I’m not accidentally activating the lid but once I found the right spot it’s working perfectly. I also really like the fan function that sucks the bag to the walls of the trashcan when you put the lid back on as it gives more space and you can see how much room is left easily that way and know when it’s time to change the bag.This was absolutely worth the cost and I’m so happy with how well it works.
