i NEEDED A LADDER FOR MY BOSTON WHALER AND IT IS SO ADJUSTABLE IT FITS MOST ANY BOAT AND SUPER STRONG. FOLD REALLY FLAT AND STEPS ARE NICE AND WIDE ENOUGH FOR FEET THEY WONT DIG IN BOARDING THE BOAT.

I have a small skiff that I am not ready to install a permanent ladder on. This is built well and looks just like the one at west marine for way more $.

Wow. Im impressed! This ladder feels great to climb. I love having actual steps to get in and out of the boat versus the swinging bar found on the back of built in boat platforms.This is SO much more comfortable and easy to climb!I love how light weight the ladder is, and how easy it is to transport, lay against the inside of the boat or inside the boat cubby.. The top arched sections fold inward to make this narrow for storage.The legs can be added to any step and changed anytime.The length of the legs to reach the side of the boat have 4 holes to choose from, making it customizable. For us, one set of legs were perfect fit, on the furthest out leg setting.I love the padding on the bottom of those legs, protecting the side of the boat.Only ONE single improvement needed in my opinion, and its a simple one.. a thin layer of rubber or felt protector on the inside curve of the top of the ladder rungs. So that it does not rub on the inner edge of the top of the boat. Im doing that for sure, and using this ladder for all the times we stop the boat to swim, snorkel, and go clamming!!So glad to have this.I weight 155# and am 5'3" and it worked perfectly fine for me, felt sturdy and I was confident using it on my third up and down on it. (to gain confidence on a new ladder)Thank you for an excellent product

This is a great universal boat ladder. It's firm but lightweight with very adjustable braces that can be moved along the ladder and extended or reduced. This allows me to place it anywhere along my boat (stern to bow). The aluminum sides make it much easier to climb than other rope ladders and it is small enough to store when not in use.

The minor issue is that boats have curved sides, so the ladder doesn’t hang straight. Even with the adjustable bumper feet, the ladder still leans to the inside. It’s usable, just would be better if one of the set of bumper feet was considerably longer. Oh, and it doesn’t come with directions, so at first I was trying to attach the feet to the aluminum posts. Had to google it for correct installation.
