Useful to keep bugs out
A useful screen to keep bugs out. Poorer quality than a previous one I owned of same make. Nylon frayed and magnets didn't align in places, so scored 4. But overall did the job.

Really nice screen
I read many reviews on this & other listings but all I kept seeing was 1 person saying it was great & the next saying it was awful.I took a chance on it & I have to say that I'm glad I did. I was expecting something flimsy to turn up & rip as soon as it was out of the box but nothing of the sort happened.I will state that the foreign instructions mean i have no idea what any of it states, however the diagram & common sense makes it easy enough to put up. I've read some saying the adhesive tabs aren't strong enough but I also got tacks with mine so if it isn't sticky enough, you can always tack it to the door frame too. It fits my door with a bit to spare both in width & height. All I can say is that I'm very pleasantly surprised in good way.

Does the job but not very robust.
We bought this to put over the back door of the house in the summer so we can leave it open for the animals to come and go as they please without the house filling up with insects. Whilst it does work at keeping out the flies and other assorted insects it's a bit flimsy (very easily torn) and the velcro pads come unstuck from the mesh quite easily (leaving the screen flapping around). The dog got the hang of going through it quite quickly but the cat is not impressed and just sits by it waiting for human intervention. We've subsequently bought a more heavy duty version that seems to be coping better (although the cat still does not like it). For a high traffic doorway this product may not be up to the job.

The product is a great idea
The fly screen broke within a couple of weeks! One of the magnets broke - disappointedly the vendor could not replace the item- therefore a refund was offered - not yet returned - awaiting closure. The product is very good and fitted within minutes - an excellent idea- however poor materials used as the magnet fell of and cannot be replaced!

NO MORE UNWANTED PESTS
IT WORKS !! THE JML SNAP SCREEN HAS GOT TO BE THE BEST THING I HAVE BOUGHT FOR A LONG TIME, THE SCREEN DOES EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS IT WILL, ITS SO EASY TO PUT UP AND IT KEEPS OUT EVEN THE TINY FLIES. EVERY SUMMER I SPEND MY TIME COVERING ANYTHING THAT IM AFRAID BUGS MIGHT GET AT BUT NOT THIS YEAR,THE JML SCREEN IS TRULY BRILLIANT. A FRIEND WAS IMPRESSED WITH MY SCREEN AND DECIDED TO BUY ONE HOWEVER SHE FOUND A CHEAPER VERSION AND BOUGHT ONE, WITHIN TWO HOURS THREE OF THE MAGNETS HAD FALLEN OFF WITHIN TWO DAYS SHE TOOK IT DOWN AND THREW IT AWAY ! ALONG WITH THE SEVEN BITS OF MAGNETIC FASTENERS THAT HAD ENDED UP ON THE FLOOR. IF YOU WANT THE BEST IN THIS ITEM BUY THE JML ! IT DOES WORK, ITS STRONG ENOUGH TO WITHSTAND MY GRANDCHILDREN COMING AND GOING PLUS THE FAMILY PETS ARE ABLE TO COME IN AND OUT WITH NO PROBLEM. WORTH EVERYPENNY.

shoddy
Original screen had worn out after 2 years good service. Purchased another to replace it but the quality of manufacture had decreased significantly. Product ripped as I tried to hang it. Not fit for purpose. Shame as original was so good.

It works!
Having read the variable reviews and as an infamous "Bodger" of DIY I thought this would be a tricky item. But it was worth investing a tenner in case it was of any use despite my reservations and past DIY failings. What a surprise! - Despite being too wide for my utility room door, - which meant using the sticky strips on brick - it has pretty much stayed put!. A few issues where the dogs tend to go to the sides rather than the middle to push through, which can detach the sticky strips, eventually, but all-in-all better than described by many reviewers - and when dogs trained to go through the middle the door is fine and the snap shut mechanism works well. Been a bit breezy, too which hasn't caused it to shift, even when front and back doors are open and house turns into a wind tunnel. Definitely fly-proof and does "what it says on the tin"! If it fails after one Season, I'll buy another as £10 a year to keep the house airy and fly-free in the Summer months isn't a huge investment - Is it?
