Inexpencive restoration of a steel folding door
The new pivot rod fit perfectly and saved me from the expense of replacing the entire folding door system. Not much thought is given when opening and closing a tough steel door. The steel doors won't split like a light weight wood doors but their tracks aren't any better. My advice, paint the steel door, adjust, change the pivot and you are good for another 10 years.

It works
So far it's working. Landlord rented me a place that needs repairs already,asked him to fix it and that got me no where. So i looked up the mfg co on the back of the aluminum bifold door and matched this part to it. Taking it with me when i move though 😯

Broke immediately, thin cheap flange.
Needed these for metal bi-fold doors, purchased two of these, and the chinsy metal flange on the end with nylon cap broke immediately on both though installed correctly. I added a nut in its place and is working adequately. Disappointed.
