Functional, but not quite what I wanted
What I like - the stiff, waterproof cardstock it's printed on. What I like less - the focus is NOT on identifying letter and number flags (what I wanted), and more on signals and meanings (with the flags, or via a flagman). I'm into racing sailboats, not signaling commercial boat traffic, so the fact that only half of one side of the card is useful to me (and there is not a single indicator of meaning for racing flags) is a little disappointing. But it's a durable piece, and gives me the minimal amount of information I require.

Excellent nautical code quick reference
I find it very useful to know the military phonetic alphabet in many situations. Lots of people are familiar with this phonetic alphabet (though variations - usually less clear - are often used by police forces for some silly reason), so if you're spelling a name or address over the phone, you don't have to make up random words that start with a particular letter on the fly. I verified that the words on this reference sheet match up perfectly with the official military version. Not only is the military alphabet detailed very clearly on this sheet, the numbers are, too. This only matters because military folks say "niner" instead of "nine".On top of the phonetic alphabet, next to each letter is the Morse code and flag semaphore expression for the letters. It also has, on the same page, the Morse code punctuation. I never knew how to punctuate in Morse code before I saw this sheet! On the opposite side of the reference sheet, all the specialized flags used to communicate simple expressions or individual letters are shown with their meanings. I have visited a couple of battleships and a carrier that had these kinds of flags strung up, and I always wanted to know what they were saying. Now I can translate! The reference sheet is very thick, sturdy plastic with three holes for binder storage. It is water-proof and probably somewhat physical abuse-proof. This is worlds better than the laminated reference sheets you find at office supply stores.Overall, I really like this nautical code reference sheet. Lots of useful info is packed into it, and it's very readable and robust. Highly recommended!

High quality for the novice
I have always been intrigued on the signs on the coastal beaches on visits and this covers all that I have seen and many I have not. The morse code alphabet is another very cool way of communcation where before the technology we had existed this is still used in some cases on rescues that people who where aware of the danger got the training and signaling of help distress where it is a world wide way to communicate and hearing this could one day help someone in need. Leaning new things.

Everything you ever wanted to know about naval signaling
The NautiCards Nautical Codes Card is a heavy weight waterproof plastic card containing semaphore, morse code, phonetic alphabet and flag signal information in a very easy to use layout and is super easy to understand. Having been around boats my entire life, I've always wondered what boats flying some flags and pennants combinations meant but up until now I just didn't have a handy way to look them up quickly while out on the water. With the NautiCards card, I now have all this information in a nice easy to read format that I'll keep right next to my radio. Being printed on a nice thick plastic card means I'll never have to worry about it getting wet and soggy and lasting many years in a marine environment.Another great super useful thing is the phonetic alphabet for use when communicating with someone with less than ideal reception. It used to be that if I were trying to spell something out to them, it was at that exact moment I would forget what the equivalent word for each letter was so something like FISH would come out to be "Frank Irene Steven Hunter" instead of "Foxtrot India Sierra Hotel". Now with this handy card I can sound like a pro! (Half my yacht club seems to be airplane pilots who know this stuff cold!)
