Gift for my daughter who loves legos.

This is a really cute set that I'm now using as a Christmas decoration. The build went well, no missing pieces, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow.The set came divided in 3 bags, and I only needed to use 2-3 puzzle trays per bag to separate the pieces. I built this in about 2 hrs, but I was watching tv, so could be done quicker.My one complaint is that the motor in the base is a bit finicky. That, and you need to be very careful the tree remains straight and the pieces on the base are positioned just right so the rotation doesn't catch on another piece, which will stall the motor, and getting it going again can be an issue.But even if I don't wind it up, it's still a cute decoration and the build was simple. Would recommend.

Super cute!! It can be taken apart in sections and lain flat so it will be very easy to store (tree, 4-clear sections, clear cone topper, brown frame, base)Tip: when it comes to attaching the clear “icicle” frame to the cone topper piece at the top— the two wider pieces are right at the edge and the 2 thinner pieces are one row farther back—took me trial and error to figure this out.This is a really unique piece! The music is pretty clear! It’s setup like a traditional music box so it Doesn’t rotate without playing music. The key turns on the music/rotation on the right side and turns the music/rotation off on the backside.Took about 3 or 3.5 hours. All bags are marked either 1, 2 or 3 and Instructions are divided into 3 sections.

This is a really fun for a person who enjoys playing with Legos and Lego like crafts. It is really easy to assemble as the pieces are sorted neatly by bags and the picture instructions are easy to follow. The music is really cute and doesn't sound distorted. Once together, it had been exceedingly appreciated by my kiddo. Overall, a good, fun cute piece for the holiday.

I bought this for my 17 year old daughter after being unable to find a similar name brand product. We were very disappointed that several of the parts broke during the assembly (we actually had to hot glue one of them so she’d be able to finish the project) and the bottom of the tree does not stay well connected to the base - she’s considering gluing that in place 🙄. Otherwise it’s very pretty - shiny lights and nice music box. However, the assembly frustration and broken parts aren’t really acceptable for the cost of this product.

This will be utilized as a gift for a child that enjoys legos. From first glance these look like they will be compatible with other lego piece. The instructions are similar to other lego projects and appear easy to follow. The base is musical and turns the tree after cranking with the key. It is not battery operated but rather is similar to a music box that needs to be turned, I see this as a big plus. It also has a spot to adjust volume. It comes with a lego block tool to assist in taking apart difficult pieces. This will be a fun project for after Christmas morning.

Overall a cute set that my daughter enjoyed putting together. The only disappointments for her were when she had to get a square piece from our Lego bin (b/c missing from this set) and when it fell apart a few times. I helped her since she had issues installing the top piece, which holds the clear outer-tree together. The whole family love this stunning Christmas tree/music box built up with Lego pieces! Although there are around 600 pieces altogether, assembly is not complex or confusing if you follow the instructions. The intricacies and precision are amazing: After you turn on the music box/base, the music starts and the tree and the trains and wagons around it start to turn, but to different directions; the snow-covered decorations over the tree, on the other hand, stay put and don't turn. The only down side of the product might be that the clockwork of the base (which starts the music and the turning motion) sometimes gets stuck, and you will need to give the key a little nudge to resume the music and turning. But overall, this is a wonderful product which heralds tons of family fun and season's greetings.
